You hit the nail right on the head. If people think the fault lies with the GOP, then the GOP only has itself to blame. They MUST get ahead of this and explain the truth to the people.
The poll doesn’t even ask if people support a shutdown to prevent defunding Obmacare- which is what the Dems will likely do.
Instead it asks just the opposite, the opposite of reality.
Only SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS, COMMIES and ILLEGALS support it.
No—the poll respondents were blaming the President for the shutdown mess. That is unusual for Minnesota.
The poll choices were: 1) The President 2) Republicans in Congress, or 3) Undecided.
But yes, the election of Al Franken (and—might I add—Jesse Ventura) tells you everything you need to know about Minnesota politics.
