Charges have been dropped against a Saudi princess who was accused of human trafficking after a Kenyan maid said her passport was taken and she was forced to work for meagre pay.

On Friday, prosecutors in the US state of California said they were unable to corroborate the allegations against Meshael Alayban, 42.

Ms Alayban's lawyers said the maid's claims were a scam to remain in the US.

The charges carried a penalty of up to 12 years in prison.

Friday's announcement came during what was originally supposed be Ms Alayban's arraignment.

Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas told the judge the evidence did not support charges against Ms Alayban and moved to dismiss the case.

Ms Alayban, reportedly one of six wives of a scion of the Saudi royal family, had been free on $5m (£3.1m) bail posted by the Saudi consulate

If she had not been a princess, I don't think they would have been so lenient. Having a family that controls a significant portion of the world's known oil resources covers a multitude of sins.

And immediately after the decision, she and her family flew to Saudi Arabia on a chartered 747...( where have I hear that before..hmmm?)

If they didn’t have the evidence to take this to trial, then why did they charge her in the first place?

Has there been any Saudi charged in a US court that hasn’t had the case either dismissed or it disappeared?

Let her AND the maid leave. It’s cheaper. Wash our hands of it.

Yes, you can buy injustice in the US.

At this point, I think the $64 question is will the maid be allowed to return to Kenya, or will the US willingly return the slave to her Saudi owners, to be taken back to Arabia and murdered.

If the case was just corrupt, they will let her go back to Kenya. If they are downright *evil*, they will force her to go to Saudi Arabia.

So, who wants to guess if the state of California will resurrect the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850?

With Democrats in charge, it’s anyone’s guess. They really miss the good old days of slavery.

My guess is that one or more of the California Prosecutors was looking for a multi-million dollar payoff/bribe to make the charges go away or to ensure in a NOT GUILTY ruling....

So when will the Kenyan maid be deported? Ever? I think she is a scammer just like the Saudi’s lawyer said—

“Ms Alayban’s lawyers said the maid’s claims were a scam to remain in the US.”

The Mullah Obamadork offered a favor (through the corrupt, venal, and totall septic Just-Us Department) to fellow Muslims.

Nothing surprises us any more.

However, after CW-II, let us hope that the Obamadork was not allowed to escape to Iran...or that we know where he (it) is over there.

This is the most important and revealing item regarding the depth of government corruption that Saudi money has bought.

That was before the Saudis sent their friends in the State Department urgent messages to intervene and get the case dropped, just liked they tried to do with that other Muslim slaver, who was just transferred out of the Colorado penitentiary system into a minimum security federal country club.
