GLASTONBURY — A man who became alarmed when he saw a man carrying a gun inside the TD Bank at 2461 Main St. last Thursday afternoon was himself charged with breach of peace because he shook up bank staff.

Robert Gursky, 50, of Cavan Lane, was in the bank transacting business when he saw a person with a handgun. The person he saw was legally carrying the firearm and had no ill intent, police said.

Gursky, however, was concerned and tried to convey what he saw to a bank teller.

Hoplophobes have to learn not to make their irrational fears into public safety problems.

It is people like this one that have gotten people killed for no good reason.

This is the latest attack on the 2nd Amendment. Accuse gun carriers of disturbing the peace and threatening the public. Put these leftards in jail.

Might be more like an agenda. We just passed concealed carry in Il. I was having a conservation about it with a group awhile back and a lib told us that anytime he thought someone was packing he was going to call 911 and report them. I hope he does so, our local law enforcement is pro CCW.

He tries that more than once and he’s going to be spending some time behind bars.

I hope the liberals do that. It will totally undermine their position and expose them as mentally ill.

Well, well. This happened in Glastonbury? [AGAIN?]

http://www.gunreports.com/news/news/concealed-carry-connecticut-chili-goldberg_2006-1.html

You can’t fix stupid. He didn’t get the memo from the Goldberg case.

When Jim Goldberg was arrested in Glastonbury [2007] for open carry, reported to police by frightened waitress is pretty much put into play an open dialogue about the lousy way cops *interpret* law. Connecticut is an *Open Carry* state. Goldberg was vindicated.

All in all, it’s a good thing, b/c the paranoia continues here. The Glast. cops acted well in arresting the bank customer. The Glast. cops are still smarting over the Goldberg fiasco. Good.

Glastonbury still again.... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3068568/posts

I’m glad a small CT business might cash in on Progressive’s stupidity.

Man causes bank panic after saying "gun" to teller (Arrested)

From the article I linked: "It turns out the man with the gun was in law enforcement. "

Now you know why the OTHER guy was charged.

I saw a liberal the other day. Got scared that a crazed drug dealer was running loose amongst us.

Liberal mental illness showed itself a few years ago at Trio's Restaurant (liberal hangout) in Little Rock, AR. Two Pulaski County deputies are eating there and the manager comes up and tells them, "Sir, I'm really embarrased to ask you this, but one of our patrons doesn't like your firearms and was wondering if they could be put in your vehicle?"

Of course both cops laughed heartily and said "that would be against department policy, and if someone came in here and robbed the place, we couldn't perform our duties that the anti-gun liberal probably voted for.

Manager walked back to patron and told her "Aint gonna happen". She made a big stink about it and was very vocal. Cops asked across the restaurant if the manager wanted them to escort the person disturbing the peace off of the property?.......of course she shut up and scowled...stewing in her hatred of everything good, noble, and American.

IMHO, Liberals should be institutionalized, exiled, or _____________________.

I think it’s the antis’ “Starbucks ruse.”

Freak out in public anytime you see an legal, openly carried firearm. Cause a ruckus and claim to be terrified.
