Florida Gov. Rick Scott wrote to top congressional leaders Monday expressing concern about the security of people's personal information as they sign up for health coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
In the letter to House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid,he also urged Congress to use whatever means necessary to ensure the proper safeguards are in place.
"Floridians should not have to exchange their privacy for insurance," Scott said in the letter. He called Florida "ground zero" for the Obama administration's efforts to enroll people in the new health care exchanges, a key component of the law.

Why did Rick Scott sign up for ObamaCare if he is so concerned about the privacy rights of his constituents?
Only terrorists and mass killers can be anonymous.
With an election coming up next year and his previous cave on Obamacare (allowing Medicaid expansion) in his state Rick Scott has to do the Specter Dance and move to the right.
So we get these words from him about privacy being violated in Obamacare.
I’ve seen this act before.
When is Rick Scott going to apologize for appointing Angela Corey to persecute George Zimmerman???????
So....Rick Scott campaigning against ObamaCare again....after he supported it?
Scott needs to be primaried in 2014.....or Chuckles Crist will slaughter him in the general election
If Scott is the nominee, he’ll be far better than the alternative (either Crist or other rat). He’d have my vote. You are correct, though. I’d rather see someone else challenge him. His cave on Medicaid is poor, and calls into question his sincerity on this letter. His role in the disastrous Zimmerman trial and backing of Angela Corey is purely negligence. Both show his flailing attempt to cave to left-wing special interests. Not exactly what we thought we were getting here.
Golf Clown, B. Hussein Obama wants to shut down the US Federal Government so that he will have more free time to play Golf, away from the fog of responsibility.
Party on, Golf Clown, party on!
