President Obama has formally authorized American shipments to Syria of non-lethal equipment and supplies specifically aimed at countering the threat of Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapons as the world waits for them to be neutralized.
In a signed order, Obama today waived prohibitions of such shipments by the Arms Export Control Act, determining that the assistance is “essential to the national security interests of the United States.”
The materials — including chemical weapons-related personal protective gear and medical supplies — will be sent to “vetted” members of the Syrian opposition, international aid groups inside Syria, and any other organizations working to “prevent the preparation, use, or proliferation of Syria’s chemical weapons,” an administration official said.

Our safety and the safety of our children have been directly threatened by this juvenile, not to mention their futures stolen and sold into slavery to the state. How much longer will the people allow this to continue?
Probably labeled as “medical supplies.”
This gear has three uses.
1-Protection against chemical attack by Assad.
2-Protective gear that allows the rebels to safely work with the dangerous chemicals to create their own WMD.
3-Allow the rebels to safely use their own chemical weapons without fear of exposure.
Much like Clinton’s blunders allowed 9/11 to occur during Bush43, Obama’s malfeasance will allow the attacks to take place during a subsequent administration.
Then, liberals will ignore today’s actions and, instead, return to the “connect the dots” theme.

The world is blind.
MOPP gear (Mission Oriented Protective Posture) in Syria is virtually useless. It is basically non-breathing suits that totally enclose the body, and with face mask and hood, place the individual in a chemical safe posture.
It’s downside is that it’s miserable. And on a hot day it is a prescription for the failure of bodily functions, so far as I’m concerned. I hated being at MOPP 4 level (totally suited up).
My opinion is that it’s deadly above about 80 degrees.
They can send all the MOPP suits they want, but if one micro-droplet of nerve gas can kill, and if being in that suit for too long can render combat ineffective, then we’ll find that it really doesn’t help much.

And yet, not one Congressman will put a stop to this.
They don't just "allow" it, they financially support it with their tax payments. So it will continue until enough people find the fortitude to stop supporting it. Active resistance is illegal, you can't refuse to pay and not expect reprisal. Passive resistance is legal: don't work enough to reach the threshold of income required to pay income taxes. Unfortunately very, very few people are willing to make such short term personal sacrifice for the nation they claim to love; to endure temporary hardship to rid America of a government they claim to loathe.
Give notice that you will no longer work to support the current system. Then go on strike as promised because they absolutely don't care what you say...only that you pay.
Well then. Vote for a different bunch! Don't forget to pay your taxes. They can't even keep the lights on in Congress without tax money.
We have to be mindful of 0’s thinking vis-a-vis aid to Syrian rebels. His thoughts can be summed by his “thanking God”. Yes, he is quite thankful to God that he can help out this way.
Of course, while he thinks this, he doesn’t think it in the English tongue, but rather in the tongue of the rebels to receive this aid, the translation of thankfulness to God: “Alahu Akbar”.
I don't know who is going to be "vetting" the Syrian rebels but I hope it's not the same person who vetted Aaron Alexis.
