Why is the make and model on the 4473?
Line 26 thru 30
Line 29....
Type(pistol, revolver, rifle, shotgun, receiver, frame, etc)
None of that is reported to FBI.
Just long gun or pistol.
The 4473 stays on file with your FFL.
Not sure what the regs are on out of state sales but I imagine all would require a NICS check.
Virginia has their own form in addition to the 4473
