The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday sided with the Obama administration in the nationwide legal battle over the mandate to cover contraception services in the new health care law, marking the second time a federal appeals court rebuffed to a company who said the mandatory coverage of birth control violates its religious beliefs.
A third court, seated in Denver, took an opposing view in July when it granted the Hobby Lobby crafts franchise an injunction that shields the Oklahoma City company from the mandate tied to the Affordable Care Act until the merits of their case can be heard.
Taken together, the split rulings are an indication the matter is headed for the Supreme Court in Washington.
This just sets it up for Supreme Court review, said Kyle Duncan , general counsel for the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, which is representing some of the plaintiffs who object to the mandate.

6th circus punt to the Bigtop.
My bet is that the court will just decline to hear the case and leave it in limbo, like Prop 8.
Looks like the SCOTUS thinks the Constitutions consists of a ‘Charter of Negative Liberties’ just like Obama. That’s a shame
I hope every employer who is demanding respect for the God-given and legally guaranteed First Amendment right to freedom of religion will shut down their businesses, or at least fire all but 49 employees, rather than submit to the petty tyrant’s demands. That form of unemployment should be Obama’s legacy for as long as this evil and destructive law is in effect.
Why would anyone expect the courts to do the right thing? This is Acirema, NOT the America we grew up in. While we slept, or watched American Idol, America was turned upside down and inside out. What we have is an abomination called Acirema.
There is no rule of law; there is no justice. If you want justice, you will have to take it. You don’t like the ruling, shut your business down and start a smaller one, not subject to the law. You don’t like what’s going on in your state, leave.
I’m about ready to abandon my home and go somewhere else that has sanity.
