Elizabeth O’Bagy, the Syria researcher at the center of a week-long controversy surrounding her academic credentials and her work with the Syrian opposition, admitted for the first time to The Daily Beast she was never enrolled in a Ph.D. program despite representations she made to the press and multiple organizations for whom she worked.

I just posted this on the Daily Beast comments, where I sometimes troll. “Ask Senator Elizabeth Warren, Dem Senator from Mass, if lying about your bio or credentials (to become the affirmative-action “Native American” woman at Harvard etc), or plagiarizing right and left, will matter in the long run. Ms. Pow Wow Chow is now a member of our nation’s highest legislative body. Pocahontas Warren lied and laughed her way to success with the nation’s low-information voters, who could not care less about truth vs. lies as a basic test of character.”
Memo to Elizabeth: it’s a good thing you’re just another well-intentioned liberal. Had you described yourself as a conservative, you would have been subjected to far greater scrutiny on your prevarications. For example, Matt Lauer would be interviewing former boyfriends of yours, getting them to admit you faked orgasms during sex.

Who would set up a paradigm where one person could so easily and fraudulently escape peer review, only to be left with her own set of unique facts that mysteriously misleads a whole flock?
This still smacks to me of a situation where her false credentials being known (maybe long, long ago) made her ripe for being a “fall guy” whenever the need should arise.
It’s long-term corruption—endemic to our current banana republic. The string-pullers have something really juicy on all those in higher positions to keep ‘em in line and vote the way of the string-pullers. Kagan’s brother is McCain adviser, Robert Kagan.
Who is Robert married to? Victoria Nuland, former spokesperson for the United States Department of State. (She was nominated to serve as Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs in May 2013.)

I was reading the comments. It is amazing how little thinking and talking-point spewing the libs do. They seem to all support that it doesn’t matter about the lying. She supports Barry and their side is noble. The ends justifies the means. Lying is ok if you are a lib.
