When paramedics found 8-year-old Gizell Davis on the floor of her bedridden father's blood-spattered room, they saw wounds arching across her cold body, according to Cook County prosecutors.
Davis' grandmother was charged soon after with the strangulation and beating that left Davis dead in her family's South Austin home July 12. On Monday, a Cook County sheriff's deputy pushed the girl's gaunt father into court in a wheelchair to face first-degree murder charges of his own.

Things don’t get any more sick and unnatural than a grandmother torturing and murdering a grandchild.
This happened in Illinois, so Grandma will grow old on the taxpayers’ dime - no death penalty.
Was there a reason they did this to this little girl? Where was her mother?

If they are found guilty, both the Grandmother and Father should be taken outside immediately and hanged from the nearest tree limbs.

You are much more forgiving than I could ever be. Hanging them from tree limbs would only be appropriate after a proper understanding of their acts was beaten into them.
