Father of girl, 8, grandmother charged in girl's July murder in Austin

When paramedics found 8-year-old Gizell Davis on the floor of her bedridden father's blood-spattered room, they saw wounds arching across her cold body, according to Cook County prosecutors.

Davis' grandmother was charged soon after with the strangulation and beating that left Davis dead in her family's South Austin home July 12. On Monday, a Cook County sheriff's deputy pushed the girl's gaunt father into court in a wheelchair to face first-degree murder charges of his own.

Perhaps mother and son thought the little girl ‘dissed’ them.

"They just don't have the ability to give him the 24-hour care he needs in order to survive," she said of the Cook County Jail.

Cry me a river, lady. Whoever said this *individual* needs to survive? His 8 year old daughter didn't, did she?

This story along with the Florida sex abuse scandals (father/mother against their children), just makes me want to cry, vomit and scream.

These people are not sick, they are pure evil.
