Obama rejects Putin's claim on Syria chemical weapons attack, exchanges letters with Iran's Rouhani

Obama also said he and new Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had exchanged letters about the situation in Syria and that the Iranians understand the US concern about a potential nuclear-armed Iran "is a far larger issue" for the United States.

The one actor in the neighborhood Obama listens to is Erdogan. That ought to tell you something.

Yes, he listens to the Saudis too, but they are a couple of countries away.

Nobody except those that have reviewed the evidence, who fairly universally say it's much more likely the rebels did it than Assad's forces.

As far as I can tell, there are certainly those AROUND THE WORLD, e.g., German intelligence, that take it VERY seriously that Assad is not guilty.
