A home was heavily damaged after an operation to find gang members who are indicted on 97 counts.

SWAT members were looking for Jashavious Keel. He is one of the suspects named in a Chatham County indictment. The district attorney's office said 14 West 61st Street is his last known address.

It would be a bit pointless to go after the trigger pullers. These guys are told "this is the house, and you're looking for this person."

The problem is the systematic incompetency, entitlement, and casual assumption of do-whatever-we-want-we're-the-LAW that allows crap like this to happen -- somebody put that address on file as belonging to a criminal w/o verifying it, somebody tagged the house as the target w/o verifying it, somebody gave the OK to the "raid" w/o verifying it, etc etc. Never mind that police shouldn't be legally allowed to blow their way into a house like this, without an extremely compelling reason. And I don't consider snagging somebody they did catch and release on once already to be a compelling reason.

This is a very deep and systematic problem that needs to be addressed.

A no-knock or SWAT-style home invasion should have a higher burden of proof than “that’s the address we had on file.” Either that or We The People get to deploy claymores for perimeter defense.

A No Knock Raid should be limited to Hostage Situations Only. There needs to be some liability and personal accountability for wrong house raids. Banning LEO's involved for life from working in law enforcement would be a good place to start. If such a raid results in death of innocent homeowners then criminal liability {charges} should apply.

So if a criminal were to list his address as 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue would they take the time to ascertain the veracity, much less his actually being at that address and at that time?

Or are they just using AR’s and flash bangs on their fishing expeditions?

Even fisherman have more intelligence as to the probability of fish being in the area they cast.

Seen that three or four times before and I still think it’s funny.

Let me tell you what that means. They arrest some scum, he gives them an address with no proof. They accept it as the gospel (because they are morons) and later use it to destroy innocent people's home, as well as terrorize them. This is real "terroristic threatening". Not some kid with a gun shaped pop tart.

Assault lawyers. Lots of exceedingly hungry assault lawyers with no scruples whatever.

“”This information as to where this individual, this defendant charged in this indictment. That information was obtain from court records from other court dates he had been there. He had listed that as his address and phoenix, which is the jail,” Heap said.”

Is this verbatim from the DA? If so, I think we’ve located the peabrain that got this party started...

“A No Knock Raid should be limited to Hostage Situations Only.” Gee whiz. *The next thing you know they will be raiding homes using SWAT personnel to accomplish a search and seizure of evidence only. I hope no one is killed when they institute that procedure. /s

*See “Jose Guerena”

You address it by getting them all. When a big city department loses 10-12 JBTs in a bad raid the whole department gets the message and cities around the country get the message. A dozen cops doing time represents a million or so in training dollars down the tubes. It might even make it a bit hard to recruit replacements.

Hey Karl, these punks use that info so their little dick steroid abusing tough guy fantasies can be acted on. These kids can dress up in all of their gear and play tough guy. This is beyond out of control fellow FReepers and no, this old boy has no idea what the answer is. (Well, yeah I do really......). There was a thread earlier today about just how many Fed. related agencies are armed and geared up. (I think it was 70?? or so). Don’t worry tho, the jackboot slurpers will show up soon and tell us how wrong we all are.

In my view a SWAT team that invades the wrong house should face the sakes charges I would face if I invaded a house. Each individual cop should be prosecuted for breaking and entering, threatening, and unlawful restraint.

No, actually, they should be in MORE trouble than you would. They committed the same crime, but did so under color of authority.

Let them raid the wrong house and get shot and killed and watch the supporters start screaming to high Heaven.

“It would be a bit pointless to go after the trigger pullers.”

It is not pointless to go after the trigger pullers. They are guilty, even when they skate in court. They are using the gestapo tactics. Find them guilty of murder, premeditated, and give one or two the death penalty. Not long and no LEO would accept the assignment.

Now go after the judges and the prosecutors. They are pure evil in their disregard for the sanctity of the rights of ‘We the People’.

Every one of these raids is as bad as Waco. David Koresh was out and about in the community on a regular basis. The want him, it is easy to apprehend him and arrest him. But no, the who purpose of the raid on the compound was to anilate everyone in the compound. Who was in charge of all that? None other than ERIC HOLDER! Evil POS!

Strangely, the exact spelling and even syllables are unique, yet the name is entirely -- and tediously --typical.

Looking forward to the expository lecture he delivers when he receives his Fields Medal someday soon.
