Whatever it is a model of ... it ain't persuasion.
Baah! It doesn’t mean minds were changed, it only means
that more democrat Obamabots watched the speech.
This is what passes for journolisim today...
Only conservatives watching were bloggers, many drunk-blogging.
What right-thinker can stand to watch that guy?
Did it even occur to Kusnet that the vast majority of people listening already backed Obama?
How many actually watched the speech? Most were probably not aware he even made it, but were embarrassed to admit it.
A model of persuasion?...BULLCRAP!...A model of smoke and mirrors.
No Barf Alert?
americans suddenly agreed with him because he changed his position 180 degrees. we didn’t agree with him, he agreed with us.
His assessment of OB’s persuasiveness is only valid if the distribution of people who have opinions on Syrian involvement is the same as the distribution of people who actually bothered to listen to that jackwad babble on and on.
Which I doubt.
The explanation.

Methinks the water-carrying is getting a little too heavy to bear even for the fawning “news” media for their boy-king wannabe..... They’re really reaching deep into the Bag of Deceptions.
Such nonsense.
The MSM can spin it until they drop from vertigo. The bottom line of this fiasco is that there will be no strong “limited strikes” that would have deposed Assad. Israel has lost and Iran has won a huge strategic victory. The Iranians will keep access to their forward Syrian locations for their mobile ballistic missile batteries. Israel cannot attack Iran’s nuclear facilities without suffering a devastating counterattack. Unmolested Iran will test a nuclear device in nine to twelve months. Netanyahu was not “persuaded” by Obama’s speech. Inept foreign policy has consequences.
LOL.
Ask those folks what his “Policy” is, and they can’t tell you...because there isn’t a policy...except to bomb or not bomb, it is urgent, but not so urgent that Congress should vote now, and the Russian plan is good or it isn’t—we’ll have to wait and see.
So keep pluggin’ that lie, CNN. Your ratings tell the story.
Well, I certainly found BO to be very persuasive. So much so, in fact, that when I listened to him speak four years ago I was persuaded not to ever listen to him again.
I saw brief moments of Obama’s speech. Here was my immediate takeaway. The old adage of, “it’s not necessarily what you say as much as the way you say it.”
I watched as Obama looked into the camera with sincereity dripping from every pore of his eyes that gazed right through the camera. I knew instantly that it didn’t matter what he said or did, but that most Americans would be giving him a standing ovation because “he just looked so sincere”.
Americans are suckers for almost anyone that can manipulate them. It is why actors can sell people their 35th kitchen gadget or floor mop to the person living in one room apartment or nursing home.
People don’t examine any issue, they just want the best, nicest American Idol person to win, darn it!
Only those who can still stand listening to Obama tuned in
