Remember Kuwait Testimony,Babies tossed from incubators etc. in 1990? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmfVs3WaE9Y Name was Nayirah, daughter of a Kuwait Amb. living in the US. Wiki: http://www.ask.com/wiki/Nayirah_(testimony)?o=2801&qsrc=999&ad=doubleDown&an=apn&ap=ask.com In 1992, it was revealed that Nayirah's last name was al-Ṣabaḥ (Arabic: نيره الصباح) and that she was the daughter of Saud bin Nasir Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States. Furthermore, it was revealed that her testimony was organized as part of the Citizens for a Free Kuwait public relations campaign which was run by Hill & Knowlton for the Kuwaiti government. Following this, al-Sabah's testimony has largely come to be regarded as wartime propaganda. They don't even change the game plan or the play book....

I think they have obtained a variety of assurances for future from these M.B.most of which would never materialize.
Basically there is no “high ground “ position available to assume when dealing with Islamic groups.
If American policy is seen to obviously deviate from altruistic to egocentric...What then of the dollar...It is based only on faith....and our way of life?
Now these are interesting times ,the whole world is watching as the American people...back the P.O.T.U.S. down from a morally questionable position.
At the same time 2 million Americans are making a statement..in D.C. basically supporting Putins position regarding Islam in general.
Right now today the world can see Americans in general supporting truth though its in conflict with national interest.
I think

I don't disagree, but if someone had done all the work, and was pending only a formality for the actual award of the degree, I could see them claiming a PhD for "squib" bio at the end of an article, though it would be more careful to say 'PhD pending'.
Obviously, in a communication to an employer, one could make the exact status clear without misleading, as in "I have completed the requirements for my PhD in X, [other than y], and expect formal award of the degree in [month, year].

I’d guess she’s a CIA operative whose cover has been blown
the intent was to immediately get into war... and those with the ‘evidence’ would’ve been forgotten
sloppy work all around

This only proves that people like McCain and Kerry seek out people whom they agree with to use as their sources.
The actual truth means little as long as they can quote some source.
This same ploy has made Al Gore a rich man. he seeks out people who agree with him about Global warming and quotes them as an undeniable source. The truth means nothing.

Yeah, this is rather delicious, isn’t it? I’ve been laughing most of the day ruminating over this, and the administration’s comedy of errors along with their unraveling web of deceit we’ve had to endure over the Syria fiasco.

Speaking of academic credentials, how about we get a look at 0bama's? Does he even have a legal degree?
If he doesn't, can we fire him too?

A lie is a lie. No Ph.D. until it is officially awarded.
