David Cameron sounds pretty excited about it too. Did Waffles bumble his way into a “solution” to the crisis? Here’s the presumptive Democratic nominee creating a little rhetorical space for her party to declare victory and walk away:
“If the regime immediately surrendered its stockpiles to international control, as was suggested by Secretary [John] Kerry and the Russians, that would be an important step,” Clinton said. “But this cannot be another excuse for delay or obstruction. Russia has to support the international community’s efforts sincerely, or be held to account.”
Clinton also defended Obama’s push for strikes as instrumental in making such a political settlement possible.
“It is very important to note that this discussion that has taken hold today, about potential international control over Syria’s stockpiles, only could take place in the context of a credible military threat by the United States to keep pressure on the Syrian government as well as those supporting Syria, like Russia,” she said.
GOP Rep. Mike Rogers, chair of the House Intel Committee and devout hawk, made the same point earlier. Apparently, if not for Obama’s heroic half-hearted saber-rattling, Assad would be free to flaunt his chemical weapons openly instead of pretending to turn them over while continuing to slaughter Sunnis en masse. There’s your Hillary 2016 foreign-policy bumper sticker.
This isn’t the only help she’s given to the White House on the big Syria push either; she called Schumer and Mark Pryor this past weekend to try to sell them on voting yes. Pryor, as far as I know, is still a firm no today on attacking. Meanwhile, in Syria:

This is BS. Obama’s objective from day one was not to have the regime turn over chemical weapons. He said it was to punish Syria for crossing the red line and using them. He never mentioned diplomacy.
Hillary holds no office. WTF is she doing adding her two cents to this debacle.

Down the road a few weeks or months, the rebels let some sarin gas loose in Damascus again...
Was it the rebels? Or did Assad hold back a little so he could use it and blame the rebels?

Meanwhile, obama’s not fooling anybody. He looks as he is, bumbling, sophomoric, a sorcerer’s apprentice.
Samantha Power and Susan Rice, both, I think , did claim that the admin has exhausted all diplomatic efforts. which was BS on its face. but especially today when JFKerry stumbled into a diplomatic solution which Assad agreed to right off.
Wouldn’t asking Assad to turn over his chemical weapons be one of the first diplomatic solutions that Kerry, Powers and or Rice would’ve tried if they really tried to diplomatically address Assads alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria?
The people in DC, Obama and others, think we are all a bunch of idiots! he things they say have zero credibility. I wouldn’t believe them if they said the sun was gonna rise tomorrow morning.

And if a Repub were Prez, Hitlery, and other libs, would be calling the threat a potential "disruption of the peace process". Anyone remember those words from the Left and the media when Nixon, Reagan and the Bush's were Presidents?
They could move the stockpiles back to Iraq.
This is exactly what I was thinking today, looking at the headlines. The Bamster and Lurch are going to declare a diplomatic victory and masterpiece. Nothing like getting out in front of a parade going by, smiling and waving, and saying you are the leader of the parade.

They keep saying Assad has killed 100,000 people. Isn’t the truth that 100,000 have died in the civil war? Some of those were Assad’s troops and some of them were Christians killed by the rebels.
And she will probably win.
