“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 2 Cor 10:3

Never let a good crisis go to waste, even if you caused it yourself. We are now witnessing the results of Leading From Your Behind in Syria. This story is not about Syria and some questionable chemical attack or whether one side is worse than another, it is about our criminal mismanagement of our energy resources. Sure we are seeing how ill equipped Obomber is on the world stage when he has to actually lead, but more than anything it underscores his and the ruling class’ need to keep Americans impoverished and enslaved to overpriced Middle East oil.

If not for our addiction to Arabian oil we would not give an itch about what happens in the ME sandbox. We would treat it like feudal wars of Outer Mongolia with a half hearted appreciation of the suffering and then turn the channel back to Duck Dynasty as we slid off to sleep. Rather we treat every civil war or coup as if it was happening on Main Street USA, because it is. When you have a rumor of a war in the Persian crescent you can almost watch the pump price rise every time you pass a gas station. This Syrian rat’s nest has risen the price of oil five dollars per barrel which will translate into twenty cents a gallon within a month. This will take a bite out of every American wallet as their monthly gas bill has gone up forty dollars since President Disaster decided to become a warrior.

George Soros said a decade ago, the only thing stopping the entire world from becoming communist was the United States. He and some other speculators knew if you could enslave the world to a subsistence existence you can control them both physically and emotionally. The worst thing those who want to control the United States and the world can allow is wealthy and independent people who can afford to live and travel where they want. You have to keep them one paycheck from bankruptcy so the threat of poverty will keep them at the ruling class’ mercy. The Ruling Class cannot afford to have people not living in fear of losing everything or they will not need an all powerful gummit to have a huge cradle to grave safety net. Without that fear people would vote for freedom rather than indentured servitude which would be the end of central control.

We are now living in the results of nearly a hundred years of brainwashing through the Three Pillars of Indoctrination (academia, media and the DNC). Soros and his buddies have funded these groups along with the militant environmentalists to vilify cost effective energy to the point of making it illegal. We are watching the EPA and Enviro-commies closing down our most abundant energy resource coal, which will take electricity from a hundred bucks a month to double or triple those costs. We are seeing in Europe a situation where people cannot afford to turn on their lights and heat and will soon see people freezing to death in their homes. This will be coming here as soon as those hundreds of coal fired plants are closed for another sacrifice to the environmental earth worshipers. They falsely claim there is Global Warming which does not exist and get the Three Pillars to promote the fraud into consensus and people gladly put the shackles on their legs to become less free for Mother Gaia. This is the purest unadulterated form of brainwashing ever invented using religion.

In addition to the chains of environmental cultism we are just about to be further impoverished with Obozocare. The Liberal zombies are about to slap a huge tax on the working people taking them even closer to the bankruptcy cliff by forcing them to pay for the most Cadillac plan for Mercedes prices. This is one step from a pure communist healthcare which will truly be the end of America as we knew it. Once they collapse the insurance industry we will no longer have any choice of where to go to a doctor or have any say in our treatments as it will all be decided by the Ruling Class. This is what Syria is about, becoming serfs to the Rulers or Inner Circle.

We have to have the courage to say no to bombing Syria. If the Rulers had their way they would have us completely at the mercy of the Arabian Peninsula and purchasing $10/gal gas. This would keep us in our homes or better yet purchasing the communal hovels to live our lives indentured to the Communal Store. It is time to stand up to the insanity of Syria as well as the energy mismanagement which caused this disaster. We have to say no to Obozocare as well as the taxes which go with it. If our elected officials will not stop it then it is time for the American people to just say no and undermine it until it collapses on its own weight. It is time to organize and fight the Ruling Class wherever we can engage them to get our country back.

This Syrian fiasco has shown how inept the monkey with a grenade can be, although he has handled this grenade much better than he has the economy. Talk about a monkey with the largest economy on the planet, trying to come up with a plan, the world is seeing how stupid he truly is. Now is the time to defeat his Syrian proposal and expose his poor plan for what it is as well as expose the Three Pillars for the power hungry hypocrites they are. They are in the open proving once again that they were not sincere about their opposition to Iraq, but were only using it as a tool to defeat Bush and promote their agenda. If they were sincere they would be howling louder about this rush to war, yet all we have is silence and an endorsement by Yawn Kerry the biggest hypocrite of all.

As dangerous as this situation is it has exposed everyone for exactly who they are and what they are about. It has nothing to do with Syria or the children who were gassed it is about enslaving America to higher priced energy. They have to enslave you to control your lives. It makes it easier to bring the final solution to America which is the second generation of Obamacare or nationalized healthcare. Once it is in place then every American will have Obama and the Czars at your throat deciding who lives and who dies which has been their goal for the last sixty years. This has nothing to do with controlling Assad and everything to do with controlling America.

Pray for America to Wake Up

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

I see we have another full court five show press this Sunday. The WH Chief of Staff will attempt to pull The One’s bacon out of the fire. Will he be able to convince the American people we need to go to war to save us from The One’s slip of the tongue? Not as far as I’m concerned.

Thank you as usual AB for the thread. This is going to be a very interesting week.

Morning AB, all...

....I type this morning from Disney World’s Fort Wilderness, in a cabin, in a canyon....NO WAIT!

Spent these past days since Monday here, returning home to Delaware tomorrow. Drove down in two days, driving back in one.

Had a great time. If ever there is a lesson to be learned on capitalism, it’s in Disney World.

Been keeping up on the Syria situation, am still in shock.

No, not in shock that Obama got himself involved in all this, but shock that OUR guys are on his side.

Folks, we have no opposition party.

We have one huge political class is all.

Bray, it has become increasingly obvious that the VAST majority of Americans--including me!--are completely convinced that attacking Syria is not a good idea. The fact that President Obama is essentially being read the riot act about this at the G20 Summit has shown why your assessment about Leading From Behind is so accurate.

The White House is showing particularly gruesome video of gas effects in their briefings to Congress, trying to get members riled up. King and Kinzinger have fallen for it. They need to answer these charges before voting for more useless Middle East military action:

At Zero Hedge - High-Level U.S. Intelligence Officers: Syrian Government Didn’t Launch Chemical Weapons

The Obama administration has selectively used intelligence to justify military strikes on Syria, former military officers with access to the original intelligence reports say, in a manner that goes far beyond what critics charged the Bush administration of doing in the run-up to the 2003 Iraq war.

According to these officers, who served in top positions in the United States, Britain, France, Israel, and Jordan, a Syrian military communication intercepted by Israel’s famed Unit 8200 electronic intelligence outfit has been doctored so that it leads a reader to just the opposite conclusion reached by the original report.

Oh, and thank you AB, for doing this thread.

I understand Obama’s going into a media blitz, six interviews tomorrow, speech to the nation Tuesday. Got BetrayUs to come out in favor of this mess.

I so don’t want Obama leading us into a war with Iran’s proxy, Syria. I am not even sure he’s on our side.

I am not a big believer in coincidences. Obama mentions chemical weapons and soon, boom, saran gas all over the place.

He’s got the children to make his case.

Will the country buy it? We shall see.

OMG! JUST A STUNNING WRITE UP!

I hope that you can write another book incorporating these posts. Your writing has it all...covering complex issues bringing them to a simple overview, courage, and of course...the masterful use of words and images!

Brilliant! “leading from the behind”!
As I have said before, you are definitely on a par with the best of the WSJ writers.

Oh, yes. McDonough is pulling a “Rice” this morning so it will be interesting to hear the theme the Pres. will try to ride this week.

Even more interesting, after McDonough’s talking points are ridiculed out of the room, if the Pres. will throw him under the buss and take off on an entirely different tangent.

Topic of the morning: Syria?

It is such a problem that Obama will give a national speech — on Tuesday.

It is such a problem that Obama had to go golfing yesterday to clear his head.

Bad news, according to F&F Headlines: Obama loses Senator Pryor on the Syria problem.

[Just co-inky-dinks that Pryor is up for reelection and is facing some serious challengers. He might get ‘Lincolned’ this fall.]

No Mc & Cheezy-the-sidekick this morning. Notice how Rubio is avoiding most of the newstalkies any more. Apparently, his political rehabilitation is not being very successful. NH polling has him dropping like a rock.

Denis McDonough, obama’s token Catholic. Make that “devout Catholic.” Everywhere.

Too bad no one on any of these shows will ask him how he squares that with his devotion to a president who endorses infanticide.

One other point that’s been really bothering me...

Many of our brave troops have served multiple tours of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some have already had 4 or 5 tours. This is far more than most had in Vietnam.

You might have heard about Staff Sergeant Robert Bales. He is the husband of a friend of mine and was on his 4th tour, the one previous to it in Iraq he was blown up by an IED, has a metal plate in his skull. Well he was sent to Afghanistan (after being told he’d get several years in the States because of his injury) and went on a killing rampage in Afghanistan and killed numerous civilians. Now Bobby has said all along he didn’t remember what he did that night—he just has no memory about a lot of things from time to time after that explosion on the 3rd tour in Iraq, but plead guilty because even he believed he must have done it. He got life in prison (Leavenworth) without possible parole. So now my friend has to raise her small children on her own, loses all their military benefits, and has huge legal expenses to boot.

I do not in any way condone acts of murder, especially of civilians. However, the thin red line that is our combat troops is worn extremely thin after years of war, and if we enter another, I’m not sure that many will be able to take it. When the line breaks, then what?

As retired military, I can say that if my country was in peril even I would put on my old uniform and join them. I don’t think even one would chose not to fight in such a situation even if they’ve already had a dozen combat tours! But the question I now have is, is our country really in peril from Assad? More like from the Muslim Brotherhood, but that is the side Obama wants to put us on!!!

Stupid Low Information Voters, who, wrapped up in the celebrity bad boy and bad girl culture, voted for Obama cause he was the cool black guy... Stupid, despicable media who refused to tell the truth about Obama, and instead fed us a myth with fawning articles and news... Stupid democrats, who will do ANYTHING to win, even destroy everything we’ve collectively made over the past 200 years, all to get a vote... Stupid Republicans, for not shouting from the roof tops the real danger we are all in...

They have broken this formerly great country beyond repair.

the Three Pillars of Indoctrination (academia, media and the DNC).

Thank goodness we have a strong opposition party.

[couldn't even finish typing that without chuckling]

As feckless as the Pubbies are on Capitol Hill, I would not be surprised if more Pubbies voted to approve Syrian intervention than Dems.

Boehner and Cantor have already expressed support. McConnell has backed away -- considering he is up for reelection and apparently has some strong opposition to unseat him.

==

Then, we have Senator Graham threatening the residents of SC that they will probably get nuked, if they don't support Obama's Syrian War efforts.

Ironically, Senator Graham fails to mention that the open southern border could likely be a significant route for terrorist infiltration.

F&F news clip

Kerry: the Syrian civil war is going to require political solution, not a military one.

==

[key phrase: civil war. It is their civil war. At most, US intervention can only throw fuel on the situation. Russia, China and Iran have already expressed they might take ‘action’ if Obama does interfere.]

[Does Kerry realize that, with the first bomb drop, the Syrian civil war does involve military? Kerry, like Obama, can talk out of both sides of his mouth and still not really say anything of significance.]

World bodies outlawed chemical weapons early in the 20th century.

If someone in our government or elsewhere knows where there are chemical weapons in Syria, and that they have already been used (regardless of the side that used them), the weapons should have been blown up by standoff US or NATO assets by now.

Without debate or much fuss—and no politics. You wouldn’t necessarily even have to announce it. Just KA-BOOM.

You don’t go to “war.” You don’t ask mealy-mouthed politicians for “permission” that you don’t even need. Just KA-BOOM.

Chemical weapons. Think of the gas chambers. Think of Auschwitz. You need a debate? A Sunday morning talk show campaign? Gas. Chemical weapons. Really?

Do these people in the Odumbo admin have any clue where the weapons are? If they do and they haven’t already taken action then they are accessories after the fact.

continues to actually PROTECT the murderers at Benghazi.
He claims the pRes_ _ent has caught the murderers,
and that he “(did) what he says”, even though
Wallace points out that reporters had no trouble

CONCLUSION: More proof that the White Hut’s SOLE
GOAL is protecting terrorists against the American

“The President has taken on ‘extraConstitutional’ powers.”

He also commented that the perpetrator of the gas attacks is unknown, and responding is not necessarily in America’s interest.

Also that “this president” is unwilling to respond when we are attacked as in Benghazi.

Rand Paul can speak “truth to power” so well. What a brain, and what a contrast between him and Lindsey/McCain.

...and Boner, Kantor, Issa, etc etc etc/// O'Bomber must have pictures of them in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.

That's because, in my not so humble opinion, Obama was in on it.

In a better world, he would already have been impeached and jailed. He committed a conspiracy that led to 4 murders.

We are staying at a cabin in Fort Wilderness, perfect for us.

Went to Magic Kingdom three times, Hollywood, Animal Kingdom, Epcot yesterday, Epcot today...leaving at five in the am in the morning.

One can tell Disney World is NOT run by the gubmint. First, NO Disney World employee (called Cast Members here, heh) EVER tells a visitor that something cannot be done.

If you ask a passing Cast Member to drive you somewhere, damn if they don’t, even if they say they first have to deliver towels to the laundry!

We have a meal plan, added on for free at the last minute but well worth it. They are so efficient at everything they do...the crowds are moved and pleased.

Like the song says...”Be Our Guest, Be Our Guest”....and you really are.

I’ll not be coming back to Disney World in my lifetime but I wanted to do it with my beloved granddaughter before I got too old and could not walk. I am reasonably healthy for a quadruple bypass patient at age fifty seven but walking and standing long periods of time are not my forte. I rented a little cart to get around and it’s been a godsend.

I’d planned this trip last year. My husband was going to stay home, mind the pets and hold down the fort. Eve n back then he was too ill to navigate Disney World. Hus band, alas, died this past April and we debated whether to go.

He would have wanted me to go, I know this.

I have had a wonderful time but guys, I’m done.

Daughter, granddaughter and soninlaw all love it and vow to return.

I’m glad I did it but I’m done.

Wallace asking Tokyo-Rove about Bush taking us to war over a similar chemical weapon issue which proved to be false.

Rove blatantly misses the opportunity to announce these are probably Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons.

Doesn’t even swing the bat.

Karl Rove is wrong about Repubs getting involved in this war. Why should they go against the American people to support the President and Al Queda?
