De Blasio is running a racist campaign: Bloomberg
NY Post ^ | September 7, 2013 | 11:16am | Michael Gartland

Posted on 09/07/2013 10:54:51 AM PDT by BenLurkin

“Class-warfare and racist,” Bloomberg said. “I mean he’s making an appeal using his family to gain support. I think it’s pretty obvious to anyone watching what he’s been doing.”

“I do not think he himself is racist,” Bloomberg said of de Blasio. “It’s comparable to me pointing out I’m Jewish in attracting the Jewish vote. You tailor messages to your audiences and address issues you think your audience cares about….Tearing people apart with this ‘two cities’ thing doesn’t make any sense to me.”

Bloomberg is correct. De Blasio is using his black wife and mixed children to appeal to black voters because de Blasio is aware that black people are extremely tribal and will almost always support a black Lib or a white Lib with black connections like de Blasio over a run-of-the-mill white Lib with no black connections.

"Tearing people apart" is never something a Liberal wants to do. A Liberal always believes everyone should agree with him. Only people who disagree with a Liberal are "divisive."

Deblasio is a self-hating white David Dinkins. He’s declared war on white people in his campaign and he’s going to win.

NYC has been lucky so far. It looks like it’s streak has run out. Hello Detroit!

The truth is that it is only through the strong law enforcement policies of Rudy and the continuation of those by Bloom-Turd that NYC has escaped the fate of places like Detroit.

NYC has almost become a one industry town of financial services. They are highly reliant on the fact that they are the financial hub of the country. Without the low crime rate, they will fall quickly like it did in the seventies and eighties.

Looks like I might have to get my visit to the WTC site and Intrepid museum before Doomberg is out. Scary thought that Doomberg may look good soon.

That’s like saying the Romney used his kids to appeal to white voters.

As for “tribal”, that describes a lot of white people as well.

Exactly.

And those who don’t further lib/left policies are called “controversial.”

“Scary thought that Doomberg may look good soon.”

That’s the problem in NYC. Bad as Bloomturd stinks, the others stink lot worse. That’s why I’d have held m nose and voted for him if I’ been in NYC. Duh, hey, that’s why I’m in far SW Knox County here in TN.

What does Bloomberg even KNOW about “racism”?

It would seem that Bill de Blasio is a HIGHLY evolved thinker about the whole issue of “racism”. He doesn’t mind showing off his afro-hair son, Dante. Now that is a suitably blasé attitude. Should play well in NOO York Siddy.

SO, Gerry Ford did the city a favor when, as reported by the Daily News, “FORD TO CITY: DROP DEAD”, “Vows He’ll Veto Any Bail-Out”?

Bloomberg is also p!ssed because blacks don’t like sexual deviants like Quinn.

Which is more acceptable — winning a New York mayor’s race because your wife is black, or winning a New York mayor’s race because you bought it for a hundred million dollars like Michael Bloomberg did on three occasions?

“NYC has almost become a one industry town of financial services. They are highly reliant on the fact that they are the financial hub of the country. Without the low crime rate, they will fall quickly like it did in the seventies and eighties.”

A lot of those jobs are gone (remember the unemployed Wall Street workers of Occupy Wall Street?), and they aren’t coming back. Bloomberg is trying to make it a playground for the wealthy rather than have it regress to the North Congo it was in the 1970s. Many of the post-9/11 disaster plan prohibited back-up sites for NYC companies in NYC (or even most of NJ); rather than deal with a second site further away, some of the remaining companies are simply pulling up stakes and leaving.

The response has been a “sanctuary city” policy to encourage ANYONE to come there before blacks fill it up.

That’s like saying the Romney used his kids to appeal to white voters.

As for “tribal”, that describes a lot of white people as well.

Well, you’re wrong twice.

First, there’s a simple way to prove which group, blacks or whites, are more tribal when it comes to elections — look at how those communities voted in past elections when it was a member of their race vs. somebody outside their race. When you look at those statistics, you’ll see that there is no equivalency. Black people vote almost monolithically for the black Leftists candidate over the white Leftists candidate whether it was Jess Jackson vs. Dukakis, Obama vs. Hillary Clinton, and countless mayoral races. The white vote is always split much more evenly between the white candidate and the non-white candidate.

Second, your analogy to Romney is a false one. It may have been legitimate if Romney used his white children in speaking roles in his commercials to specifically address race issues, but Romney did not do that. De Blasio has been using his mixed child in his commercials to specfically condemn stop-and-frisk as racist, and to suggest that his father better understands issues pertaining to black voters than other candidates.

His read-between-the-lines endorsement comes just days after The Post reported that Bloomberg said he’s strongly considering endorsing Lhota if de Blasio is the Democratic nominee.

LOL!
