Half “welcome”; that means he starts with 50 percent. People in OH would never remove him. It’s hard to believe in retrospect that liberal WA state removed Foley in 1994.

You are right; originally “Helen” Trent Lott was a real conservative, c. 1974, but he had lapsed by 1984.
