at first, China will only be able to process chicken that has been slaughtered in the U.S. or other certified countries

So the birds are going to be slaughtered in one place, shipped to China to be cooked, and then shipped here?

If you buy any Chinese foodstuff even dog food you are asking for big trouble. They are masters of adulterated food. They got caught with dog food a couple of years ago Alpo had to recall a bunch of their product if my memory is correct.
