President Obama, arriving Thursday in Russia, anticipated a lively two-day G20 summit, during which hell reprise his lobbying for international airstrikes against Syria with President Vladimir Putin, an ally of the Assad regime, as well as other world leaders.
Russia said it compiled a report asserting that Syrian rebels were behind a chemical weapons attack in March near Aleppo, according to the McClatchy news service. The 100-page report, which Russia said it delivered to the United Nations in July, runs counter to U.S. claims that the regime of Bashar al-Assad has been behind chemical attacks in Syria, including a mass killing near Damascus in August.
A White House spokesman, traveling with reporters from Sweden to St. Petersburg, described Obamas pending discussions with Putin as interactions.

Obama being the proverbial serial liar of all liars will probably say:”Who you folks gonna believe, Me or that slime Putin?”
Putin! All the way. King Obama is a committed communists black Muslim and true to his upbringing will lie. He is a very sick person.
I would be scared. [/sarc]
Wonder if his overall reception is kinda icy.
Looks like he is almost sporting a stache.
I am beginning to worry that Putin just feels sorry for us with that total incompetent in the WH. I suspect Putin would rather have a worthy opponent in the USA rather than the embarrassment that calls himself ‘President’.
Gee Barry, habitually lying does tend to complicate one’s life, ya know?
Lord I know I shouldn’t, for Many reasons, but I think he starting to crack a little, and I so want to keep increasing the pressure : |
I have thought, *and said : o the very same, but this time, I am thinking we are seeing signs of stress, since he is out of the country, and cannot control the foreign press as easily... and I Really want Vlad to turn it up : \
Is that photoshopped to make 000’s head about 25% bigger than it really is?
You know though, I’m glad the rest of the world is seeing what we’ve all been saying for ages. Everyone thought he was good and now they’re seeing he’s a perpetual liar.
Photographer Marco di Lauro said he nearly fell off his chair when he saw the image being used, and said he was astonished at the failure to check their sources. The Iraqi picture---taken on March 27, 2003---shows a young Iraqi child jumping over dozens of white body bags containing skeletons found in a desert south of Baghdad, Iraq. The Iraqi picture was posted on the BBC news website today under the heading Syria massacre in Houla condemned as outrage grows.(Excerpt) Read more at telegraph.co.uk ......
This revelation comes as a Euro-newspaper reports Obama's own military do not believe him.
NOTE: THIS IS AN EDITED TRANSLATION AND MAY NOT BE FULLY ACCURATE WRT VERBIAGE Even more embarrassing for Obama, retired Lieutenant General Gregory S. Newbold posted: "The politicians are naive about the obligations that exist in foreign policy. Many are shockingly clueless about what can achieve a military operation. Newbold lead cadres in the Iraq war. He said that many of his colleagues share his active serious concerns.
An officer who commented anonymously, said: "I can not believe that the president ever takes this step into consideration. In the past 10 years we have been fighting against insurgents. Syria has advanced weapons systems. We would be in a classic war. "
Already in the past week Gen. Martin Dempsey, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, pointed to the heedlessness of Obama administration. He told ABC: "The simple use of weapons, without a precise strategy, such as the use contemplated, probably never leads to the conclusion that we imagine."
General James Mattis said: "If the Americans actually perform such an operation, then that is a brutal, very, very serious war. "
Another active officer said: "What political end do we want to achieve? I do not know what it is.
SUMMING UP Obama's got no NATO support, no US support, no Arab League support (for military action), no big powers support, and little or no support from the non-worshipful-citizen types.
The inevitable result of a Syrian bombing will be the Muslim Brotherhood, and associated terrorist groups, triumphant in Syria, and the genocide of the remaining Christians there.
No question----the savage Muslims want Assad deposed b/c he tolerates Christians.
A triumphant Muslim dictatorship in his place will annihilate Christians.
WHY DOES THIS FOOL WANT TO BOMBARD SYRIA? Obama's trying to change the topic. He's apparently still miffed about Gen al-Sisi defending Egyptian Christians against marauding Muslims....stopped them cold in their tracks.
al-Sisi's actions against Muslims (apparently succesful) was given full backing by Arab world leaders who jetstreamed billions to al Sisi to help get the job done. al-Sisi also got backing from Russia's Putin and China.
At the height of the crisis, when vacationing Ohoho tried to call al-Sisi, the general refused to take his call---showing al-Sisi's determination not to let Ohoho interfere in the plan to drive Muslims out of Egyptian politics.
Al-Sisi's got the lay of the land---he knows who's got the ear of our Muslim president.
An elegant touch to the G20 conference would be having Snowden present (or be prominently seated as expert/back up)
an interesting PowerPoint presentation.
I understand one is currently readily available....
