Syria says will never give in 'even if there is WWIII'

Syria said Wednesday it was mobilising its allies against a possible US-led military strike over a suspected gas attack and would never give in, even if a third world war erupts.

In an exclusive interview with AFP, Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Muqdad said Syria had taken "every measure" to retaliate against a potential strike, but refused to provide any clue as to what that might mean.

He also insisted that Russia had not wavered in its support for its long-time ally, despite comments by President Vladimir Putin suggesting a more conciliatory tone towards the West.

"The United States is currently mobilising its allies for an aggression against Syria," he said, adding that Damascus was therefore doing the same and that its allies were "offering it all sorts of support."

"Iran, Russia, South Africa and some Arab countries have rejected this aggression and are ready to face this war that the United States and its allies, including France, will declare against Syria", he said, without elaborating.

"The Syrian government will not change position even if there is World War III. No Syrian can sacrifice the independence of his country."

Clinton helped the KLA terrorists against Christian Serbs. Then O-bomb-a helped the Muslim Brotherhood help massacre Coptic Christians in Egypt. Now O-bomb-a is helping Al Qaeda in Syria.

Clinton waited until the KLA took over the Albanian reisstance before helping. Then O-bomb-a waited for Al Qaeda to wipe out the secularists before helping the Syrian resistance. Clinton targeted Christian civilians. So, will Obama imitate his fellow democrat? Will he target Syrian Christians? Probably not, but I have lost respect for democrap dip-lunacy a long time ago.

They say, if enough people think something’s going to turn out a certain way then you can bet good money they will make it happen. Obama can be proud, if this situation spins out of control, America will be the one who gets the worst of it.

Sure he will. The Christians in Syria are largely aligned with Assad. A rebel victory will lead to a slaughter of Christians and Alawites. Christians have already been targeted by the Islamic terrorists the US is helping and it will only get worse.

Grass Fire Email alert: left off the request for funding.

GRASSFIRE ALERT:

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted 10-7 this afternoon to approve a resolution authorizing President Obama to use military force against Syria in response to President Bashar Assad’s suspected chemical-weapons attack on civilians last month.

But the rushed vote reportedly broke Senate rules for moving legislation through the committee process. According to The Daily Beast, a senior GOP Senate aide called it “a rush to war behind closed doors,” adding:

“We were told there was a need to have a thoughtful and public debate about how this nation goes to war, but this seems to be about simply getting a resolution done to cover the President.”

Today’s actions allow for a vote by the full Senate as soon as Wednesday and enable the Democrat-controlled “upper chamber” to pass a war resolution before the House can write and pass one of its own.

Moments after the vote, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East, told FOX News that when Representatives return to Capitol Hill next week, Obama’s plan will likely by-pass committee and move directly to the chamber floor for a vote.

+ + Should Congress Back Obama On Syria?

Congress’ month-long summer recess ends in just five days — with a full Syria vote expected almost immediately. That gives grassroots Americans less than a week to make their voices heard!

From the Rose Garden on Saturday, President Obama said, “While I believe I have the authority to carry out this military action without specific congressional authorization ... I’m asking Congress to send a message to the world that we are ready to move forward together as one nation.”

But our “Radical-in-Chief” has it wrong ... again. According to Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 of the U.S. Constitution, “Congress shall have the power ... to declare war.”

That’s why grassroots Americans must act now! It’s liberty-loving Americans who need to send a message to Congress about backing Obama’s plan. Tell your Senators and Representative what you think about authorizing the President to launch a military strike against Syria.

+ + Make Your Voice Heard On Capitol Hill!

Yesterday, Grassfire launched a Syria quick poll to empower our team members and their fellow patriots to make their voices heard. In just 24 hours, more than 28,000 of you have responded — with 97 percent voting “No!” on granting Obama authority to conduct military operations in Syria.

Grassfire will deliver the quick-poll results to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) next week, prior to any vote. You can use the time remaining to expand the impact of your “vote” by faxing your two Tennessee Senators, Representative and other key lawmakers.

BTW cry baby only uses a answering machine which is ALWAYS FULL! He does not want to hear from us SERFS.

They should have never given Assad’s family safe haven in the UK, you want to be a dictator than you live or you die with the same risk as your countrymen. I wouldn’t much worry about his wife anyway, she’s western and a former investment banker...she’d find herself a golden parachute -don’t doubt that. They should load his family on a boat and sail it right into Tartus under the Russian’s noses.

“The Christians in Syria are largely aligned with Assad.”

I wish they had been so clear about that in talk radio. History repeating itself. Democrat foreign policy — kill Christians, Objective 1.

And of course, it makes ‘sense’ that Assad would anger the world when he’s winning. Yeah, ‘great’ reason. /sarc

Syria has had plenty of time to move their weapons into civilian population centers. If Obama bombs them, we will kill many more than this gas attack did.

I seriously doubt that South Africa will choose to oppose the US militarily.

And I also doubt that the various Arab states in the Middle East will choose to side with Syria and its sponsor, Iran...
