My congressman's great grandparents are from Lebanon (he is Catholic). He should know better than to vote for this because of his heritage as well as he has run as a conservative Republican.

He is Rep. Charles Boustany.

I don't recall if it were the Boustany family in Lebanon or the Saloom family in Lebanon, but one of the families had to be hid by Muslims about 100 years or more ago to escape slaughter by Muslims. Kaliste Saloom is a name known in these parts as he was a judge in this part of Louisiana for quite a few years.
