And the grand jury took 15-months to no-bill.

I'm guessing the prosecutor took 15 months to file, because I am betting it took the grand jury 15 seconds to come to their decision.

No, this happened today. The original incident happened in June 2012. All legal issues reulting from it were not resolved instantaneously. This article was published today.

Old Texas joke:

Young Harvard law student to retired Texas judge around the turn of the last century:

"Why do you acquit all these murderers but execute all these horse thieves?"

Answer:

"Out here in West Texas we got a lot of men that need killing but we ain't got no horses that need stealing."

Good for the father--taking care of business and taking care of family.

A true story about a young lawyer in AL.He was defending a man by using a Supreme Court decision that had not been put up in a volume. He was raising the decision which was about the size of a brochure in front of the judge. The old judge leaned over and said "Young man, we don't practice magazine law in this court", and ruled against the defendant.

“Here in Texas we say “He needed killing”.”

Right on. Some people deserve to die, and this animal deserved to die a painful death. May he rest in hell.

MSM take: White man beats Hispanic to death while getting dressed.

Good for the Dad, there’s a lot of scum like this that should be put down the same way. Saves the taxpayer a lot of money as well.

It took this long to get a Grand Jury/ DA decision, in Texas? I would have bet $5 it would have been a 30-day process. Is he liable to any civil suits? Hope he’s clear and his daughter is healing from the terrible experience. Also hope the rapist scum rots in hell.

I remember this event when it was first reported .... Was shocked they even let it get to a grand jury. Alberto Sharpez not on his soap box about the poor child molester being deprived of due process ?

Glad the little girl is Ok, sorry she had to endure such .... Glad her daddy was able to save her from this rabid trash.

The folks who made up this grand jury are to be congratulated for common sense decision made.
