Wonder if this criminal will seek to make his nephews, grandkids immune from the draft?

Bet he will.

On Sunday, liberal Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) argued there is no justification for U.S. involvement — especially since the country lacks allies for its proposed strikes.

“How is it that this is always our responsibility?” Grayson said on MSNBC.

Holy Carp! Alan Grayson makes sense to me!

So Zero is going to drag America into such a huge conflict that our volunteer Army can’t handle it? I bet the next great idea that Rabid Rangel has will be to exempt all of “HIS” people because they have suffered enough in America. Here is my idea, take all the A**hats responsible and all the heroes like Rangel and put them on the front line, first to charge. They want to start another war, a religious one at that, they can be the first to die for the muslims.

Kind of torn about this. A normal person would, but a callous prick who loves only himself wouldn't care at all.

One trick pony...Rangel is...

He does this because he thinks that blacks are disproportionately sent into battle more than whites...so by a draft all the white kids get to die equally as the black kids

So in a way he is saying "we be racist" for going to war...

Charlie had a good record as soldier.

He believes the draft should be reinstated and 12% be black and the rest white. He claims too many blacks died in Vietnem-—well too many of both races died in Vietnam.

Personally I would like to see the draft reintroduced, but not for Charlies reasons and it isn’t going to happen anyway.

Young men should serve their country in some sort of way so they learn that our Freedoms are not free or fought for by someone else.

With the cuts in our military we have little chance of a draft.

The far left and the far right can agree that these wars for global domination by the elite are one of the things destroying the US. In spite of all of the protests, VietNam would not have ended if it weren't for the draft and the children of the elite and connected were just as likely to end up in the war zone as the little folk.

We should give Rangel's proposal serious consideration before any rush to voting for war. If politicians won't commit their children to fighting, we shouldn't get involved.

Can you imagine if Obama, who probably went to college as an Indonesian, had to explain why his daughters shouldn't serve in wars he believes in when they're old enough to do so? Maybe Obama can explain to us why he didn't go in the service after he got his undergraduate degree, instead of going further into debt for education.

The Left wants a draft because it wants to dilute the quality and ability of our professional armed forces.

True...Rangel is a one-trick pony, and he doesn't do even that one trick very well. But at least he is being consistent. Any time a President orders military action (or even considers it) Charlie is there, proposing a reinstatement of the military draft. If it actually comes up for a vote in the House, Charlie will vote against his own proposal, as he has several times in the past.

Charlie doesn't really want the draft reinstated. He just wants to beat the "black kids are dying instead of white kids" drum at an opportune moment. And he knows the exact moment to start whaling on that drum...right as the President is ordering (or contmeplating) some sort of military action.

A country that can't raise enough volunteers to defend itself isn't worth defending.

That must be why America has always needed the draft.

In WWII, 66% of the military was draftees, 93% of the Army, in WWI it was 72% for the Army.
