I agree that the days of ‘our/your friendly cop’ is gone. Had an experience with a new recruit telling me to take my pellet gun and shoot it in the mountains when he with an older and wiser female cop could see I had made/taken extra special protection in our spacious backyard.
“No one was hurt” A sure sign it was cops shooting. :-)
