‘AMATEUR HOUR’: Krauthammer slams Obama’s sudden decision to delay Syria strike [VIDEO]
The Daily Caller ^ | August 31,2012 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 08/31/2013 1:15:58 PM PDT by Hojczyk

“[T]he most astonishing thing is the lack of any urgency,” Krauthammer said. “As you say, Congress will be back in a week. He says, ‘I can strike in a day or a week or a month,’ as if he is a judge handing down a sentence and the execution can be any time in the future. There is a war going on. Do you think everybody is going to hold their breath, hold their arms, step aside until Obama decides when he wants to go to Congress?

“But the idea that you make the case, you leak the details, you tell the world that this has to be done and then you say, ‘Well, I will take my time. I’ll go to Congress and we’ll see,’” Krauthammer said. “This should be done in three days. It isn’t as if people are not aware of the arguments. You should go out there, bring them in [and] have it done by the end of the week. And the world, I think, will have higher respect. But this looks as if you are a cynic, meaning if you are sitting Syria, Iran, Moscow, it looks like a president who boxed himself into a corner and is looking for a way out.”

As Rush so often says of Zero - Never be around when a decision is made.

So he will wait for Congress to return in 10 days so he can blame them for delays and the more deaths that happen in the interim.

Meanwhile, go golfing. Maybe this will all blow over.

Krauthammer was hoping for an unconstitutional war and is understandably disappointed.

Now if war is declared, at least it will be constitutional and we’ll know the names of all the neocons in congress.

Obama thinks that a speech is the answer.

He has good poise, can jog on stage, down the stairs of Air Force One, play B-ball, he's thin, looks clean and is very articulate (in the words of Joe Biden), but in the end, he's no more than a provincially thinking, black urban yuppie (Chrysler 300 and all). He has a powerful dose of 70s American liberalism with an Afro flavor that is still palatable to the average American white woman that voted for him.

What is new about him?

The US and the free World (Which was in love with the idea of Obama - they like weak and leftist US Presidents) will reap the harvest of having such an inexperienced amateur at the wheel. Bringing with him a featherweight entourage that has powerful ideological leftist underpinnings and himself having no executive, military, intelligence, law enforcement, foreign affairs, business, staff, experience or training; he now has a staff, and acts as the nations chief executive for federal law enforcement, intelligence, foreign affairs, and defense matters as well has having a direct economic impact through regulatory agencies, energy, and fiscal policies.

At some point in American history this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsWpvkLCvu4 replaced education, experience or even basic qualifications in character. A man who would not be allowed to work in the mail room of the CIA (drug use and associations), today runs the nations intelligence, law enforcement, defense, and foreign affairs.

But there is a silver lining! As 7% unemployment, 2.5% annual GDP growth, less private spending on R&D, an imploding Middle East and North Africa, an emboldened North Korea and Iran, declining US military capabilities and a nuclear Iran become the new normal, Hollywood and MSNBC/CNN will provide America with an endless fairytale of how great everything is. After all, we are also building bullet trains now!

Egggzakly!!Now which ever way it goes, for or against military action he can blame the stupid Republicans. "Rope a Dope" to perfection. If they go in and F-ck it up( most likely scenario) then it was the pubbies fault. If they don't go in the the heartless pubbies don't care if kids are being gassed. If they go in and somehow actually do some good (not a safe bet at all) then guess who will be on TV beaming his biggest I got Bin Laden smile? Its called putting your opponent on the horns of a dilemma and the pubbies have been positioned there for years due to a total lack of principal , commitment to the Constitution, and abject fear of the New York Times editorial page scribblers. A fie on them all! God Save the Republic.

No Drama Obama. The guy is nothing if not the ultimate politician. He doesn’t care what people think of him and is dead set to create a Socialist state here. However, he’s very alert to what would hinder his agenda and doesn’t mind losing face because he knows a) people will soon forget and b) the media-nights will move on to something else.

On this issue? Yes. Now, we probably agree that Uncle Sam should erase Iran's nuclear program. But on Syria, we're diametrically opposed.

No, he’s against the idea. Krauthammer was on Hannity and said the only purpose of a attack on Syria would be to vindicate Obama’s vanity because he’s become a laughingstock around the world

He also said Obama would be a hypocrite if he strikes Syria without approval from congress after stating in 2007 that a President cannot unilaterally authorize an attack on another country if there is no imminent threat to Americans.

These aren't ghetto thugs we're dealing with. They're brave and willing to die for the things they believe in. Did Iraqi insurgents fear and respect us? Sure. But they fought us anyway, and sent 5000 GI's home in body bags to communicate to us that they are brave men and not to be trifled with. The idea that China and Russia are gonna stop supporting Syria because Krauthammer is in power is hard to credit. Is Assad gonna stop fighting for the kingdom his father won for his family just because Krauthammer is making the decisions?

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt’s Generals:

No, he is acting ALONE..... This is what the media is saying. I would be all for that. Put an AR in his black hands, kick his ass off into the frey and let him have at it. Just see how alone he has it when his “boots” hit the ground. Kinda like the 4 in Libya had it.

Bring our troops home. For as I am concerned this is the perfect time for our generals (although nadless) to tell him to pound sand when ordered to fire. Time to take back America from this Marxist and it has to come from our Military.
