I thought of making a photo meme with ten reasons why a Frisbee is more useful than an Ipad, after the power goes out. You can collect berries on a Frisbee, etc.

LOL! A lot of expensive toys will be rendered useless.

I digressed before - when I said we'd have to go back to how people lived 100 years ago, I didn't mean completely - that would be impossible since few live on farms big enough to sustain ourselves. Nor have the knowledge. And as you said, the equipment either. I was only thinking on a small scale - that we'd have to go to bed and rise with the sun. Lighting has made us (at least it did for me) more nocturnal. I 'wish' I was a morning person. I may have to become one after all ;)

Shall I put fisbees on my prepping list?

I bought it - it’s wonderful. Reminds me, I have to ask hubby to bring the kindle up here so I can finish it. (I’m in the mountains, my summer retreat, AKA survival retreat.)

I always thought I was lucky the way I grew up. When I was 13, I had to lend a hand babysitting my sister’s 3 kids-2 were in diapers while she went to beauty school after her divorce.

A lady I rode to school with was studying to be a social worker LCSW. She was like totally horrified. Oh my-you’ll never get over that, like it was a crime or something.

I just looked at her, and said I considered it lucky to get a chance to do a trial run and learn a few things before I got married and had my own.LOL
