As talk and rumors of an impending Western attack against Syria mount, a top Syrian official said Monday that if attacked, his country would react – against Israel.
Speaking to an Arabic-language radio station operated by the United States, Syria's Deputy Information Minister Halaf Al-Maftah said that Israel would face not only Syria in the event that the US, Britain and France attempted to unseat Bashar al-Assad. A coalition consisting of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria would respond to any attack against Assad with a response against Israel. In addition, terrorist groups in Syria and Lebanon would attack Israel with full force.

I suspect they are telling the Syrians if they want continued Iranian support then let the US launch a few cruise missiles and forget about it..

I can comprehend Russia not minding a Mideast war that makes their oil exports more expensive, but I can’t figure how oil-importing China would benefit.

Mac daddy can bow and take credit all he wants, the world know him for what he really is and liar and con man to be believed by no one with a brain the size of a grain of sand, and perhaps much smaller.
Indeed, hates Israel, hates netanyahu, and does the bidding of the House of Saud (who fears the mus. brotherhood and so finances them to buy them off, like the madrassahs). And all the while the Israelis and Saudis work together against shiite/alawite ruling family the Assads and their mutual enemy- Iran, thinking they can still marginalize the muslim brotherhood (which they can’t- just like they couldn’t for a time in Egypt). Tipping point.

Last time I checked, Israel had a powerful Army, Air Force and Navy, along with about 800 nuclear and thermonuclear weapons.
I really do worry that Obama is arrogant enough to think that he can get away with anything he does. He sure has in the US.

Beck even named where the “Arab Spring” would start but admits that he was just guessing about it starting in Tunisia. However it was a good educated guess about it starting in an out of the way place no one ever thinks about.

Clearly, this is two-fer for the Current Regime now squatting in the White Hut. Help out the Muslim Brotherhood, let somebody else try to deliver a kick in the teeth to the Israelis, and all with hardly getting our feet wet.
What if they had a war and nobody came?
