I saw this show on TV where this Black dude is robbing a 7-11 and the White clerk is stupid and bought a gun but he just makes an idiot out of himself and the Black guy turns out to be a really nice guy and they become best friends.

I think the White guy has a friend named Doogie Howser or something like that.

I live next to a lady who used to be a 7-11 store clerk. She was robbed one night. She gave the perps all the cash out the register. After they exited the store, one of them turned and fired through the store window at here, hitting her in the side of the face. She was lucky to have survived with only a bad facial scar.

In Indianapolis a number of years ago a brilliant would-be thief walked in to a store near the Indy 500 race track named 500 Guns and tried to hold them up with a knife.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges were filed against the employee who shot him.

I love a story with a happy ending. The shocking part for me was a 54 year old working for Dominoes, as a delivery boy. THAT’S the sad part of the whole story.
