Its really a lot of reasons
Its not by accident Jews who believe in God are more likely to be conservative politically.....traditional
Four or five other Jewish group traits that contribute even inadvertantly like tikun olam
Jews..most.... see the physical world here as something to be perfected
They exist typically even though bright and successful as fairly intact outside the host culture
I have never seen progressive Jews like today as openly hostile to traditional culture.....something they have not thought thru well

It rendered congress little more than a stage on which to conduct popularity contests. It has far more in common with democracy than with the confederated republic of our framers' design.
But when Jew starting emigrating to the U.S. in large numbers, they found a country where the average citizen could make a fortune. Many Jews, like other immigrants, did just that. The fact is, the number of capitalist Jews in America far outnumber the socialist Jews. Nevertheless, there are also many non-Jewish people spouting the socialist line as well. Many (like Ralph Nader, Michael Moore, etal) are phonies, but their rhetoric is strictly socialist.

None of this stuff is secret. An enormous amount has been written about it, documenting the Sunnyside, N.Y. community's Little Red Schoolhouse and other activities including special communist summer camps for the youth, etc. It drives me a little crazy that many people remain so uninformed about it. Publically? The faith-based initiative toward very public charity ... the Bible's almsgiving with trumpets ... becomes their politics. Many are generous with their own money ... up to a point ... and think you should be too, with your taxes. Your taxes are thus mandated by their religion.
The communists in Russia were a heavily Jewish, but non-religious movement and not above using anti-semitism to their own ends. E.G., in the forced collectivization of the Ukraine in which 10 Million were starved to death and sent to slave labor, the Communists made damn sure that the officials in charge of the massacre were identifiably Jewish!
If you want to see this phenomenon up close, simply investigate the family background of Supreme Court Justice Kagan and Uncle Kaganovitch, one of the key murdering swine Soviet SOB's of the 20s-40s. Apparently non of the RINO bastards who confirmed her can read.

Yet the reality is, even with this over representation of power, there are waves of anti Semitism now unlike that I’ve heard of in my adult lifetime. The rhetoric vs. Israel, the pandering to Islam, etc. surely should sound alarms yet these very same people are the ones doing the criticizing and sucking up
