Defense Department guide calls Founding Fathers ‘extremist’
Daily Caller ^ | Saturday August 24, 2013

A Department of Defense teaching guide meant to fight extremism advises students that rather than “dressing in sheets” modern-day radicals “will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place,” and describes 18th-century American patriots seeking freedom from the British as belonging to “extremist ideologies.”

The guide comes from documents obtained by Judicial Watch and is authored by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, a DoD-funded diversity training center.

Under a section titled “extremist ideologies,” the document states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

Yes, those who do not bow down to tyranny are extremist. How dare they not worship oppression! Reminds me of that leftist article I was reading the other night speaking about the people “serving Obama”. Serving? Oh excuse me, but last time I checked it’s suppose to be the other way around.

The screws tighten. When will enough of us realize that reform and return to constitutionalism will not emerge from those who profit so well from the system they corrupted?

Defense Department guide calls Founding Fathers ‘extremist’

Well, we call people who call the Founders ‘extremist’ traitors!

So THERE!

Communist Goals (1963) Congressional Record—Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963

#30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

(I knew the Confederacy had more in common with the US Founding than anyone wants to admit.)

If this is really true, it’s getting scarier.

God forbid you speak up and confront the politicos! (Unless they are perceived as conservative politicos - then it’s all good.)

This says more about the people who wrote the guide than the founding fathers. Only communists would call those seeking freedom, liberty and justice, “extremists”.

This is another “phony” scandal that needs to be relentlessly pursued. The people who wrote and approved the guide need to be put before the public and questioned.

To England, they were extremists and traitors. To this day, people in the UK consider our Founding Fathers nothing but traitors.

If the DoD has the funds to produce such drivel then clearly the sequester has not squeezed out enough waste, fraud and abuse from it.

Extremists is an appropriate term to describe the Founding Fathers imo. However, the anti-constitutional republic Defence Department undoubtedly knows that “extremist” will mean different things to low information citizens than it will mean to patriots who have actually studied the Constitution.

This calls for a concerted counter. It is serious--very, very serious--in what it could lead to. Traditional governments have repeatedly fallen, when troops sent to put down mob led insurrections, have defected & joined the mob. That is the scenario, when the mob are Leftist, and the Government falls to them.

The opposite situation, is when the public rises against tyranny, and the troops remain loyal to the tyrant, the rising is crushed. (For example when the Mongolian troops, sent into Hungary by Kruschev in 1956, crushed the Hungarian Revolution. The Kremlin did not dare trust Russians to do the job, because Hungary looked like paradise compared to Russia at the time.)

Why if the Obama Administration is not thinking in these terms, would they be trying to disparage the legitimacy of the Founding Fathers' vision for America?

We need to make very sure that those in the Armed Forces understand that those traditional American values, being called in question, were--unlike the false dogma being promoted in Washington today--grounded upon Experience & Reason.

If the politicians now running the Defense Department won't do it; we have to find ways to make certain that those who enlist to defend us, really understand what their oaths to support the Constitution really mean.

In the meanwhile, this is further evidence as to why the House needs to set up a Committee to draft a bill of Impeachment.
