Russia has been building up forces in the region for 2 years. The Soviets, I mean the Russians truly stand behind THEIR allies.
The US will send in 5 ships, launch 36 Tomahawks and very quickly state that it’s all over, we won’t fire anymore so don’t worry Putin, Assad, Nasrallah, we were just flexing our pinky muscle...pansy out.
if the Tomahawks are approach their expiration dates then they can be fired too.

I certainly believe Obama is capable of running large arms and heavy weapons to the rebels, probably already ongoing...but I doubt he would condone chemicals weapons...
You see, he can always point to other POTUS doing the weapons shuffle...he would not take the chance on being caught moving WMD like chemical weapons...if he was caught doing that...all bets are off...even democrats would impeach..
Maybe he should be worried about the coming war right here at home.

Amamzing isn’t it...Obama willing to act in Syria when his pride/ego is on the (red) line, but didn’t authorize any action in Libya when 4 Americans were killed and countless others injured.
I was thinking that very thing this morning as I read Herr Obama Administrations moving warships closer to Syria and "muddling" their next response.
Makes me wonder how many other people are coming to the same conclusion as we are......
Obama does not want to hit Syria either. His DNA will not permit him to order any form of violence, unless it’s a drone.
Obama will probably launch 35 Tomahawks and 5 minutes after the last impact into an open field he will go on the air to say it was a “limited” strike and it’s all over, not to be repeated unless...red line #56 is crossed.
He will also state he is not seeking escalation with Russia and that he hopes his RESET idea is still OK with Putin.
He will launch and then apologize...it is certain. If it wasn’t for England and France, this pansy President would not launch a bottle rocket...
