A dramatic Manhattan robbery highlighted by the press in mid-July was just one part of a crime spree across the city's boroughs by a group of assailants.
However, local New York City media outlets repeatedly failed to identify the race of the suspects-at-large in their coverage, despite receiving a police advisory seeking the public’s help in apprehending the violent perpetrators putting citizens at risk in armed attacks across the city.
On July 10, The New York Daily News broke the story of 57-year-old Soho resident Anna Graham having been robbed at gunpoint a week earlier. Local media, such as NYC news site DNAInfo and New York Post, also reported the story.
Graham's reported verbal challenge to the gun-toting assailants made headlines. “You don’t have the balls to shoot me,” Graham said she told the assailants.
iMediaEthics spoke to Graham by phone this summer. We asked her if the media questioned her about the race of her attackers and whether she provided that information. She said, “Yes.”
"It was 1:30 at night, and it was two young black men," Graham said she told reporters. “The media asked me about it [race]-- everyone asked me about it,” she said, referring to the race of her robbers....

In places with media blackouts of racial violence news, the Internet is about the only way around the problem.
However, there seems to be a parallel problem that has proven almost intractable in such places. As someone noted long ago, New York no longer has a local newspaper at all.
As many times as this has been pointed out to the New York newspapers, they utterly ignore it, and as such, prevent New Yorkers from knowing what is happening just one block away.
Instead their papers love to focus on things like the increasingly small number of “cocktail party circuit celebrities”, that truthfully most New Yorkers are indifferent to. And they bitterly resent the fact that other New Yorkers don’t give a hoot about such people.
The very idea of having a crime section in the newspaper would horrify them. They would deny reality, and insist that such information is inherently racist, because so are the majority of criminals. A paradox for them.
If not for anyone else.
It’s worked up till now, and it may continue to work for awhile more. However, the blacks are so out of control of themselves that the end is in sight.
I can predict that we will be lectured a thousand times by ‘our betters’, and that will give it a little more time, but this has an inevitable outcome.
Crime reporting like this:
The Irving Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at 9:50 a.m., Aug. 13, in the 1300 block of N. Belt Line Rd. The suspect entered the business with a dark colored bandana covering his face and pointed a revolver at the clerks while demanding money. The business has ballistic glass and other security features; therefore, the clerks hid behind the counter and did not acknowledge the suspect. Once the suspect recognized that he could not get to the clerks, he tried pointing the gun through one of the small openings in the window. When that did not work, he eventually realized that there was no way to get to the clerks or the money so he ran away. No. Deliberately suppressed that information is more like it. this is intentional. They know what they are doing.
The left WANTS the ‘oppressed’ underclass to rise up against the ‘oppressor’ (White).
They don’t want the perps caught.
The race war has begun.
It did not start with riots in the streets and ash in the skies, as we thought it would.
It started with the word being quietly put out, and now whites are being hunted on the streets by feral blacks.
But the Leftists don’t want you to know it yet. They don’t want an obvious in-your-face race war. They want whites to feel an undertow of dread, to feel powerless against the black horde that is lurking, waiting inside the urban kraals.
Fear causes paralysis. The ever-mounting tide of hate from the Left is frightening people.

This has nothing to do with Zimmerman. The media has been doing this for several years.
The black race mongers haven’t seen scary until whites riot.

They also want more time to pass gun grabber laws affecting every state in order to prevent whites from being able to shoot their predators, a la Zimmerman.
