The church is wrong. Giving things free to people who didn’t work for it is contrary to the “by the sweat of thy brow, thou shalt earn thy bread” thing.
It doesn’t say in Genesis “by the sweat of Whitey’s brow thou shalt get thy EBT card”
I see lots of facile comments telling the Church to stay out of “politics.”
This isn’t “politics,” it’s public policy, which is all about moral issues.
What is objectionable is that the bishops are campaigning to solidify a PRO-ABORTION MAJORITY. Immigrants vote about 70%-80% for PRO-ABORTION politicians.
Oh, please. The Catholic Church has been liberal as long as I have been alive. The new pope is a liberal who will eventually tolerate homosexuality and abortion. Then, the phony veneer will be completely dropped and Catholicism will be the standard bearer for "social justice".
The evidence presented by a clergy rife with thieves, Marxists, queers and child-molesters should be enough for any godly person to realize that denying Scripture in favor of murmurings from crazed children, worshiping Mary and praying to dead humans is pathological.
Forget the church. Turn to God directly. Read the Bible and ask God to open your heart to its meaning.
You don't need a man wearing a dress to explain anything. We need only one High Priest, Jesus Christ the Righteous Son of God.

Apparently there is scholarly dispute as to the meaning of the ‘take Arms’ line i.e. does taking up arms lead to one’s death or is one committing suicide. I favor the latter interpretation but I’m no Shakespeare scholar.
