Catholic Church Plans Massive Push for Amnesty
Breitbart.com ^ | August 22, 2013 | Mike Flynn

If you attend Mass on September 8th, it is likely the
priest's homily will be less about spiritual matters
and more about the political imperative of
passing an amnesty law for the nation's 11 million
illegal immigrants.

Strip them of their tax-exempt status.

Make it retroactive to 1800.

I’ll make a deal with them. We kick illegals out and bring Egyptian Christians in legally.

If I had that power I would take that deal...

Yep. It’s like watching someone of strong moral charachter. The kind of person who truly lives what they believe... get ensnared by something as ridiculous as multi level marketing.

I’d settle a few hundred thousand of them in Detroit. Ease up on the taxes and regulations and they would rebuild the city with little help and then they’ll vote conservative.

There are already some 200 thousand Chaldeans in the area and quite a few Copts as well.

Oh boy. At my home parish, I am pretty sure that the Pastor, a former military chaplain, would NOT be giving that homily, but as I will be up in Ithaca, NY (aka “The City of Evil”) that weekend, I am sure that the homily will be just that.

I guess national sovereignty, the rule of law and a semblance of social order take a back seat to the upping those collection plate numbers.

So the Catholic church won’t make a stand against politicians who support abortion but they will throw their weight behind amnesty?

Strip them of their tax-exempt status. Make it retroactive to 1800.

Exactly... if they're going political, they should re-register as a political organization.

Liberalism is the universalmoral solvent.

It will dissolve any morality it comes into contact with.

Is it therefore not moral to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them? (Wm S must have known liberals...and hopefully...he ended them.)

The marxist wing of the catholic church has decried this shall be so.

Citizenship in this realm isn't the problem I normally associate with the church and organized religion, but rather it's the choice of the next one.

If they are concerned about citizenship here, then let them pay taxes like the rest of the citizens, including all back taxes!

Everywhere you look, especially in places of human authority, you see the same sort of "thing" and the same sort of problems.

The enemy is now within, while the Savior has been pushed outside and stands knocking and knocking at an unopened door.

The Scriptures say;

King James Bible

Zelophehad's Daughters Marry

(Numbers 27:1-5)

1And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel: 2And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters. 3And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance. 4And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.

5And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well. 6This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry. 7So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. 8And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers. 9Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.

God thought it important enough to instruct the children of Israel to protect their land from outsiders.

I know, the scripture is defining a marital condition, but the Bible is given to us to learn and I think we'd be wize to see the wisdom in protecting our land.

There has been a deliberate Marxist movement in the Catholic Church for decades, is my understanding, and with equal ferocity moving in the public schools, universities and academia.

Sadly, armed with that knowledge, we have done basically nothing about it, in either institution.

We simply slept too long in the case of education and bustled our kids off anyway.

It always goes the same way. The catholic church supports anti-American and anti-Constitutional politicians and legislation. Then when those politicians get elected, or the legislation they support becomes law, they bitch and complain about being told what to do that they disagree with.

It happens when the Democrats they support side with anti-Christian Democrats, and it happens when legislation like Obamacare which they supported bites them in the ass.

Well, cry me a river, because I have no sympathy left for those who continually support anti-American politicians and anti-Constitutional legislation.

It’s time to roll over and look at the partner you are sleeping with, because they just may be the enemy of America, and more they just may be the enemy of GOD!

Why doesn’t the Catholic Church spend as much time and energy with planning advertising, phone calls and marches to demand these 3rd world countries like Mexico start doing their part and clean up the country ?

I do not see my priest doing this. If he does, I walk out during the homily.
