In a video featuring Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson [ Another reason to love the Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson! ] , the TV star - in what appears to be a religious sermon - declares his pro-life stance on the issue of abortion. When discussing the ethics of, and that there's even a debate on, the issue, he asks, "What in the world happened to us?"
"Listen, from the time you started inside your mother's womb, Thomas Jefferson had it right, you have the God-given right to life for crying out loud. You're this long (pointing to his finger). You're a week old inside your mother. They suck you out of there when you're about like that (point to finger again). You wouldn't be here tonight!
"And, when you got to be the size of my thumb, they suck you out. You wouldn't be here. Then, you grow a little bigger, like my fist - and finally eight, nine months later you come out.
"And we debate whether it's a - some woman's right to tear you out of there a piece at a time! C'mon! You have a God-given right to live. And of all places, inside your mother - what in the world happened to us?"
Wow.
I may have to start watching this show.
He nails it.
I think we lost the debates on abortion and sodomy when we stopped being shocked by it. Instead of saying, “What in the world happened to us?” we say, “Scientific evidence confirms fetal pain, yadayadayada. Sometimes shock and disgust is all that’s really needed.
Good for Phil!
I just started watching it this week. It’s silly but lots of fun. Promotes great Christian values in a fun, backhanded way.
Phil has principles and GUTS!
If you go to youtube there are several videos of Phil Robertson preaching as a lay pastor at various venues. A Godly man with a strong Gospel message.
I love the ‘Duck’.
And on top of the $542.4 million they got from our tax dollars, PP charged the mother $500 to $1,000 to suck out her baby.

It will probably be off the air soon if they keep speaking their minds in public. It will not be tolerated.

In my opinion, it wouldn’t bother the Robertson family at all if they were blacklisted from TV...They have their family values and they put that EXTREMELY ahead of what TV can offer them....
Their way of life and clean living CANNOT be taken away from them...
If they say something negative about sodomy, they are off TV for good and will be attacked by the media to boot. People will call for hate crimes charges.
Like I said...I doubt it would bother them at all...They will not give up their values...PERIOD........
Bear in mind, there WILL reach a point when Americans will NOT accept what is and has happened to our country...I don’t know when it will happen, but at some point something will occur that will cause change...Mark my words....
