Too many Freepers make ignorant assumptions like yours. Go check out the rolls of Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, and Silver Star recipients. On those lists you will find many Americans with Spanish surnames. Good men like 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez USMC Medal of Honor, PFC Harold Gonsalves USMC Medal of Honor, SSgt Ambrosio Guillen USMC Medal of Honor, LCpl Jose Francisco Jimenez USMC Medal of Honor, Capt Jay R Vargas USMC Medal of Honor, Sgt Rafael Peralta USMC Navy Cross.
Those are just the Marines. Here is the list of all Medal of Honor recipients with a heritage you claim are disloyal.

My sons and I proudly carry the surname Castillo. I retired from the Marine Corps after 23 years of active duty and 2 combat tours, Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Somalia. My oldest son did 6 years in the army with two deployments to Iraq. He came home with a brain injury and a Purple Heart after his last deployment. My 3rd son is a Marine Corps Combat Engineer with two tours in Afghanistan. Do some friggin research before you spout off about stuff you know nothing about.

Unfortunately, the quality of people who would sneak into our country is such that they don't have the slightest clue about their own country's laws.

There are tens of millions of normal Americans who identify themselves as Americans, with Spanish surnames, whose families came here generations ago, totally legally and complying with all laws. They understand the US Constitution and the rule of law as well or better than the average American.
I am among them; the real outrage is that you are lumping us together with culturally criminally-bent illiterates who will rob everyone blind, in Mexico or anywhere else.

It is interesting that when the media make all the fuss about breaking up families, they never point out that the illegals left a family in Mexico or some other country to come here. Apparently it is ok to break up a family in order to come to the US, but not in order to leave the US.

This clown lumped every single American of mexican decent ttogether, yet you accuse me of it.
I worked with a guy for years, a Mexican who wanted to be a citizen in the worse way, but he kept failing the test for some reason(maybe nerves), he finally passed the citizenship test and you never saw a happier man. He hated Mexico and hated the periodic trips he had to take back there, trips that stopped once he became an American, and don't anyone dare call him a Mexican-American on pain of getting the faces punched in.
The guy raised 3 kids here, all of them American to the core. He is against Amnesty or was the last time I talked to him.
Have you ever been to a US/ Mexico game in California? They definitely don’t identify as Americans.

Nope. No hard data but it is not uncommon to read stories about schools in the border states where the kids run around waving Mexican flags and they even fly mexican flags over schools and businesses. Not to mention stories where they cant say the pledge or sing the national anthem for fear of “offending” the Mexs. Remember the pro amnesty rallys where there were virtually all the flags were Mexican? It looked so bad that the rally organizers had to remind the protesters to fly some American flags so they could give the impression they actually liked America.
Obviously my comments were not meant to be applied to ALL Mexican decendents and since I didnt say ALL there is no reason for you to get so butt hurt about it. I don’t fly off the handle whenever someone talks about Italians being in the mob. You and your kids are patriots, great, but that doesnt mean everyone is.

You may consider me an ass and an ignorant clown but at least I know the difference between the words MOST and ALL. As someone else pointed out you are a drama queen whose over the top outrage is reminiscent of responses by La Raza or Cair.
A few words added to the phrase that makes it so, like (born of parents who)"are legal residents of the United States" would correct that oversight.
I think you're the one that didn't read his comments. He said "most" people of Mexican descent, whereas you falsely CLAIMED he was making a statement about "every single American" of Mexican decent.
"Most" and "All" are clearly different things. It's common knowledge that MOST Jewish Americans blindly vote for Marxist liberal Democrats, but that doesn't mean we're claiming "every single one" of them does.
