EU warns will 'urgently review' Egypt ties
France 24 - International News ^ | August 18, 2013 | Staff

European Union leaders Herman Van Rompuy and Jose Manuel Barroso warned Egypt's army and interim government Sunday the bloc would review its ties with the country unless the violence ended.

Further escalation could have "unpredictable consequences" for Egypt and its neighbours, the presidents of the European Council and European Commission said.

"This path will not succeed. It is crucial that violence ends immediately," they said.

The 28-nation bloc would continue efforts to promote an end to violence, resumption of political dialogue, and return to a democratic process, the statement added.

"To this effect, together with its member states, the EU will urgently review in the coming days its relations with Egypt and adopt measures aimed at pursuing these goals."

They are not blind. It’s just that their plans are being screwed up by the Egyptian Military. The European socialists support the Muslim Brotherhood. Why do you think they sit silent while the Islamists take over Western Europe?

I am forced by the facts to agree with that. But comprehending it's basis comes much more slowly. I will never understand why in the name of political ideology a person is willing, even anxious, to give up his culture and cultural heritage.

I will miss Europe.

meanhwhile he needs to shut off Europe’s gas pipeline next winter and let them use windmills to stay warm

Yes, they call it the U.S. military, and they are willing to put every last man and woman serving in it to achieve the EU agenda.

I’ll explain this as easily as I can manage.

Liberals of all countries have one agenda. Liberalism. We all know that. However most people will not accept that ti trumps EVERYTHING.

First, understand that the liberal believes in personal gain above everything BUT that agenda. And he thinks that his usefull idiotness will put him at the table of power when it all hashes out. He will be one of the kings.

They hate nationalism so no country matters. THERT country will be built. Utopia.

They look on any culture but liberalism as a cancer to be chemoed. It is to be replaced by the doctrines of Unicorns and college professors.

They have no God so men women and children are numbers to be subtracted.

With that in mind...

Muslims are and alwaus have been a sword. Period. They are easily led, easily manipulated so they are the perfect tool to hammer western civ with while libs remain blameless under the guise of respecting their religion.

Exceot all that is built on false premise. They won’t be kings, Utopia is a pipe dream and muslims are uncontrollable for more than the immediate future. they have their own plans and they coincide at the moment with liberals.

Linerals think they are smart. Muslims know they are sheep. Thats why over a thousand years of liberals b=have dealt with and died at muslim hands.

The libs think they can control them until the purges begin and their problem simply goes away leaving them in a right wing/and a muslim free world. They will continue to BS brown people as their worker bee class while they rule.

Look to the history of liberas for 3000 years. The story is always the same. History does not lie.

I hear ya, but it's amazing to see how many in this world have their fingers firmly implanted in others business... George Washington was correct in a lot of ways on this.

I see another world war in the making here....hope I'm wrong.

The Eurotrashes ought to mind their manners and shut the bleep up. If the Suez Canal has so much as a low tide they are the ones who will be demanding the old days when it brought their krap reliably. They help us a little with task force 150 but they will drop Somali pirates like syphylitic girlfriends if they need to help keep the canal operating. Imagine how tough things would get in Europe if suddenly they couldn’t get Indian underpants, flying carpets, and Chinese can openers?

Why?-—the answer is simple. As with some of us (USA): cheap labor. Next question is: why does cheap labor seem to over ride quality of life?

You are right about this of course and "useful idiotness" is the perfect term. But, despite this, I'm amazed that even a dedicated Liberal can look at how the Muslim/Jihadist/al Qaeda types conduct warfare and governance (all the same thing to them) and believe that they will somehow come out on top of this fantasy collaboration.

I will never understand why in the name of political ideology a person is willing, even anxious, to give up his culture and cultural heritage.

Why does the Left support the Islamists? At first glance, it does seem strange. However, when you peel back the onion, the Left has always been after one thing: absolute power. It was true (and obvious) in Stalin's time and it is true now. The best way to successfully wield absolute power is to totally subvert the individual to the State. To do that, one must tear down the attitudes, values, and traditions that the majority holds dear and replace them with a new, different set. This is a variant on the technique used in military basic training. That is part of the reason why the Left supports things like rampant immigration, Gay marriage, and radical feminism while eschewing traditional Western religions. Radical Islam fits the bill in two respects. First, like the Left, it seeks the overthrow of Judeo/Christian culture. Second, and more importantly, Islamic clerics have close to absolute power over their adherents. If the Mullahs can motivate someone to be a suicide bomber, convincing them to pay higher taxes should be a piece of cake. Many in the Left must salivate at the thought of having that much control over the individual. At some point, the Left will have to choose between radical Islam and the continued embrace of its traditional interest groups (gays, feminists, etc). I predict they will chose the former, because ultimately the Islamists will be more numerous (in 30-50 years or so).

Because they are superior intellects. They understand that it never worked for anyone in the past because they lacked the enlightened views of the modern liberal.

Seriously. Look at how they operate. They really believe this. And their inherent racism towards brown people and their ‘obvious’ mental superiority it us knuckle draggers ensure their coming victory.

They really believe it, Once you accept that, the rest falls into place.

Yup. When you have been told you are special (and it’s gone on far longer than it has been in the mainstream) thats the end result.

Today, That boarding school elite (Kim in Korea anyone?) are in power and near power. And they have armies of college indoctrinated idiots to back them up. Like the lib reporter I mentioned on another thread who argued that 1 and one dont have to equal two. today he is an aide for a state senator in Pennsylvania. He is a Jew that thinks Israel is evil. He is a feminist that regularly screamed at female co workers.

He and those like him run the show. And that level of stupid will burn itself to the ground. Because it cannot take ‘no’ much less violent opposition.

Thanks, but quite honestly I did not write that today. I honed that paragraph over time in response to similar posts such as this. It was a mental exercise to try to explain the unholy association between the Left and Islam. I have a few other rants that I’ve honed as well—its useful to cut/paste them vs. having to regurgitate the logic from scratch.

It’s become quite apparent yet most still don’t see the alliance between the Marxists, and the Muslim Brotherhood. It’s there. It’s undeniable. Marxists, Socialists, support the Muslim Brotherhood. The anti Socialist, anti Muslimists do not support the brotherhood.

The Egyptian people deserve the government they want, NOT the government Obama, and his ilk forced upon them in a coup that the Egyptian people NOW want dissolved by their military. Our support belongs in favor of the people of Egypt, NOT in support of the evil that is the Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama is greatly responsible for the mess in Egypt today.

The EU is mad that Al Zawahiri’s brother got caught infiltrating Egypt.

The Muslim Brotherhood flies the Al Qaeda black flag, and the EU wanted Al Qaeda to rule Egypt.

That’s why they gave 0bama his Nobel Peace Prize for his 2009 speech in Cairo.

The EU supports Al Qaeda.

Should have said this earlier.

If toy want to partake in some less than light reading, Getith thee to Amazon/Kindle or whatever and buy the book “The 48 Laws of Power” by Robert Greene.

I cannot possibly express how this book will change your perspective on how and most importantly WHY power is used. It totally changed my outlook and how I view the political world, here and globally.

I recommend every Freeper get it and read it cover to cover at least once. I have bought 3 copies to date. I loan them out and never get them back. It is that good.

Nonetheless, it is an impressive piece of argument. By the way, as you are probably aware, David Horowitz wrote a book "Unholy Alliance" about this very topic in 2006. In it he researches the evolution of Left's romance with radical Islam.

[does Europe even have an army to enforce this sabre rattling?]

Only when it's reinforced with U.S. air and naval units, U.S. funds and a stream of U.S. intelligence data. The Libyan intervention was an example. Without the U.S. the Brits and the French would have exhausted themselves before ever subduing Qaddafi.
