District Judge permanently blocks Oklahoma law forbidding sharia law in courts [Judge is an idiot]

The judge says that “upholding an individual’s constitutional rights” is more important than the will of the masses. I would agree if indeed the will of the masses violated the constitutional rights of an individual. However, I’m not sure how it’s an “individual’s constitutional right” to have a US court consider sharia or international law when adjudicating a case:

CBN NEWS – A U.S. district judge permanently blocked an Oklahoma law forbidding courts from considering Islamic or international law when deciding cases.

“While the public has an interest in the will of the voters being carried out, the court finds that the public has a more profound and long-term interest in upholding an individual’s constitutional rights,” the judge wrote according to Tulsa World.

Oklahoma voters passed the measure in 2010 with 70 percent of voters supporting it, but U.S. District Judge Vickie Miles-Legrange issued a temporary injunction after a Muslim resident sued.

On Thursday the U.S. district judge made the ban permanent when she issued an order forbidding the State Election Board from certifying the election.

“U.S. District Judge Vickie Miles-Legrange issued a temporary injunction after a Muslim resident sued”

There is now. This is legal precedent that Sharia Law takes priority over American jurisprudence.

“The case will proceed to the Supreme Court, where the four liberal guys will be hard-pressed to agree on this ruling. You can’t make up pieces of the Constitution and insist to the public that you have fake rights.”

You have to remember that this is part of the long term strategy to eradicate English Common Law throughout the world. I stated this long ago - once you pull at one pillar, traditional marriage, other stuff will come along with it too. The void will be filled with something, if not English Common Law, but rather, Sharia.

“This is just the kind of well intentioned but poorly thought out idiocy that makes us look stupid. And it would have meant much less investment in Oklahoma.”

That didn’t take long either! Now we have RINOs shilling for Sharia. Dumb just like DOMA was too, eh?

Ok, so what would the judge do if Oklahoma would pass a law requiring courts to use Biblical law in deciding cases?

Is that the same Sharia law that marries children to old men, and mutilates female sex organs? Sounds completely Constitutional to me!

Most dangerous place to be after a terrorist attack is to be between a politician and a mosque.

Exactly. It's not. The only cases that should matter in a U.S. court decision are previous U.S. court decisions, not foreign or sharia. I wonder if her ruling would have been the same if, instead of sharia, it was some court set up by a group of Christians.

We should just let every person pick the set of laws they want to be used when in court. No doubt... Levitical law is what we should go by. That gives us the right to "eye for an eye, and tooth for a tooth".

I live in Oklahoma, this judge has always been an idiot.

Judges need to be reviewed regularly. This is getting to be an epidemic of stupidity

Folks these predominantly RAT judges permeate the judicial system and are a cancer to our constitution and culture. We just can’t sit out elections to leave our children and grandchildren to wallow in the throes of a Zimbabwe or South African society.
