Fox News host Bill O’Reilly revealed Thursday night on The O’Reilly Factor that he bailed out one of Al Sharpton’s charities several years ago with a $25,000 donation, after Sharpton told him it was out of money and could not provide Christmas food and presents to hundreds of poor people in Harlem.
Sharpton has often used his MSNBC program PoliticsNation to harshly criticize O’Reilly, lately for supposed attacks on the poor. Tuesday night, he accused the highly-rated host of calling food stamps users “parasites,” when in fact O’Reilly was referring to an individual surfer who is on the SNAP program in spite of being able-bodied.
O’Reilly called out Sharpton for taking his remarks out of context and then, having had enough of the MSNBC host’s partisan attacks, revealed he came through for the poor when Sharpton’s group couldn’t:

O’Reilly used to have Sharpton on his show often before he went to MSNBC. Many of us thought that was an unwise decision then and I think we were proven correct. For Sharpton and those like him this world is their reward.
It doesn’t make Sharpton look good if BOR bailed out one of his charities. If truth be known, Al probably pilfered the donation money and the reason his organization was broken.
I also believe BOR is smarter than to make out a check and hand it directly to AS. He might have picked up the food or whatever and delivered it - without giving cash or a check.
It’s not enough. The fact is, OReilly is white. That’s the problem. O’Rielly’s donation is what Whites are supposed to do for Blacks.

I understand your point, but I see the exact opposite. I think O’Blather and Sharlaton are in cahoots for ratings. I picture them in the private back room of some NYC restaurant, weekly, since the Zimmerman verdict, yucking it up over a nice dinner, and agreeing on their next feigned outrage. Thanks.
Bill has been very very generous to guys like Sharpton over the years, as has Rush. Bill has performed the perfunctory call to Al whenever someone says/does something that might be considered insensitive, which only added to his credibility. Bill should have known better, he was around when the Brawley, Crown Heights, Freddie’s events occurred and he knows the character of the man.
Rush was a strange one. He had Al in his studio to provide him with insight before Al started his own radio show and ever since then, Al has tried to shut him down.
Al has also done this to Imus, with whom he had a working relationship.
The man is nothing but a disgusting pig who will steal from anyone and everyone he can.
