Business takes me into Seattle about once a week. I (almost) never have any problems. Situational awareness is the likely reason - although once upon a time I had friends who lived there that remarked that they thought I was paranoid ;-)
I'm hoping the victim Googles this incident and reads the comments at all sites it's posted in....perhaps the universal derision, disdain and mockery of his response will cause him to rethink his ideology.
Most Lefties live in a little bubble, talking only with other Leftists. It may be quite an eye-opener for him. Some of the more passionate conservatives are former Leftists who have been mugged by reality in one way or another.
I am having a hard time with that explanation (from the ‘victim’, not you, Sir). My brother, his wife, and kids live in that neighborhood. I visit about once a year, and recall seeing no black people there. Just a thought. Thanks !

He picked the wrong white guy. He should’ve picked Michael Moore, Al Gore Jr. (the former VP, not his son who is Al Gore III), Bill Gates or any of the other well off liberals who blame “white privilege” for the ills of the world.

From the gunman’s name, he doesn’t sound like he can justify any onus against American slaveholders, of whatever skin color, if he can find any still living. But what can you expect in a country where the first African-American (alleged) president is a descendant of those Africans who enslaved the ancestors of the other African-Americans?
Correct you are. I had a CCW - in Washington it's a "CPL" for "concealed pistol license" - and used to carry in Seattle all the time. The perp is lucky he found a liberal instead of a sane, armed human being.
I had no idea. The only Black person I ever saw was in ‘08, and that was that stinking 0 poster, on some guy’s lawn!
