I also have the AC66U at home, but frankly your statement is ignoring the fact that Cisco is more known for their enterprise level devices, for which they sell far more than Asus will ever dream of, at profit and revenue levels uncomparable to the consumer market.
Cisco is to Consumer Networking as General Motors is to Hot Wheels.
