Agree. I would only respond to questions that are football related. Reporters are always digging for controversy and ways to kill careers. One politically incorrect response will get you run out of the league.

I would like an NFL Gay player come out and tell their designs on young boys and to break marriages (as in Brokeback Mountain).

the NFL should make a rule that NFL players who are giving interviews are there because of their status as an NFL player and so should only talk about NFL and football plays, tactics, experience, strategy, etc.
No personal feeling about politics or government

That’s right- in polite company the rule use to always be that you simply don’t discuss religion or politics- has everyone forgotten that?

RG3 is not a Christian. You cannot be following Christ (who calls homosexuality an abomination) and be pro homosexuality.

...RGIII didnt say that homosexuality was acceptable. He did point out that some folks like to look at the mote in anothers eye while ignoring the stick in their own. That's what I read also. Did anybody here actually hear RG3 claim that homosexuality is acceptable? An acceptable sin? Not a sin? That RG3 is pro-sodomite? An advocate of homosexuality? Finds it something to be celebrated?
To: Northern Yankee
Got that right!

That’s why from now on, it’s gonna be 24/7 RG3 ass-kissing fest. The media now have a lackey who thinks like them and he’s a Kristian’ which is a bonus. (puke)

Apparently. The original story poster is a pro-sodomite POS moron.
Found this on Google:
“The US has become a place where talentless entertainers, treasonous politicians, porn performers, criminal pro-athletes, liberal idiots/morons/traitors and lying journalists, are sadly-mistaken for people of importance.”

RGIII is a 23 year old who has apparently tried to act like a Christian as best he knows while living in a 24/7 public spotlight where every single word he utters gets dissected and twisted.
In my opinion he phrased it poorly but showed an attitude lacking in many Christians: we are all sinners and being gay doesn't make you a bigger sinner than me.
It's too bad all the perfect people here decided to bash him instead of showing some grace.

He actually makes a statement bordering on apostasy when he says: “You do what you want to do. If some Christians want to look at being gay as a sin...”
It is not a matter of Christians WANTING to view something as a sin, it is a matter of what God has said is sin - regardless of how we want to view it.
He is right, however, in pointing out some common, overlooked sins in the Christian community - but my sin does not make your sin acceptable, which is the argument he is using.
It is one thing to encourage acceptance of the sinner, a completely different thing to advocate accepting the sin.

It's too bad all the perfect people here decided to bash him instead of showing some grace. How about he just goes one better and encourages players to just play the game they're PAID for, and STFU about their proclivities?

Do not take his words out of context. You neatly avoid his other condemnations of those that sin. You look at the mote in his eye while ignoring your own stick

He isnt embracing anybody. He is stating a fact. now probably is the best time for s pro football player to come out. RGIII didnt say that homosexuality was acceptable. He did point out that some folks like to look at the mote in anothers eye while ignoring the stick in their own.Thank you. I am a Christian libertarian. Some have problems with that combination but I oppose tyranny in all its forms including gay fascism.
