RG3: Gay players should come out [NFL pro-sodomite QB claims to be Christian, but....]

Robert Griffin III thinks the time is now for gay players to come out.

The Redskins star quarterback told GQ magazine that he feels the "window is now" for gay players.

"I think there are [gay players] right now, and if they're looking for a window to just come out, I mean, now is the window," said Griffin, who is recovering from offseason knee surgery. "My view on it is, yes, I am a Christian, but to each his own. You do what you want to do. If some Christians want to look at being gay as a sin, then thinking about other women, committing adultery—or any of those other sins that are in the Bible—those are sins, too. And God looks at all of us the same way."

Hey RG 3, bestiality is also forbidden in Christianity, but hey, let's embrace them too....after all, we are all sinners, right? And pedophiles, rapists, exhibitionists, thieves, abusers....all of us sin, so let's CELEBRATE that sin, instead of being ashamed of it, right, RG?

“...to each his own....”

What a moronic response to sin.

Wow, now I can say “My gay drugged felon jock is more talented than your gay drugged felon jock” rather than just “My drugged felon jock is more talented than your drugged felon jock.”

A Christian who encourages his brethren to willfully turn from God in rebellion and sin, is not following the path of Christ and is woefully deceived by evil lies that currently run rampant.

Personally, I am beyond sick and tired of RG3. The media in the DMV area is turning him into a cult figure. I have heard them ask other Redskin players, “Will you be able to sleep tonight knowing that RG3 will play?” Radio and tv updates about what the man ate for breakfast and if he had a good night’s sleep is beyond disgusting. The Redskins should just be renamed the RG3”s and be done with it. As for his statement about gay NFL players... the media will report his comments as “brave”. Ugh....

Because whether or not a player is gay is relevant to football how...Are there players that also play “butt darts” when they aren’t on the field, probably — Do I need to know that enjoy football - NO!!!

Indeed...

There really is no middle ground. You cannot call yourself Christian but reject Christ to avoid the persecution that comes from following Jesus.

The battle lines are drawn and everyone chooses his side....

The Skins have always been the “state religion” of the DC area.

He isn’t embracing anybody. He is stating a fact. now probably is the best time for s pro football player to come out. RGIII didn’t say that homosexuality was acceptable. He did point out that some folks like to look at the mote in another’s eye while ignoring the stick in their own.

He plays a game. He does not make policy. He is not on the supreme court or the president. He plays a GAME.

Get over yourself

“...If some Christians want to look at being gay as a sin, then thinking about other women, committing adultery—or any of those other sins that are in the Bible—those are sins, too.”

So, because other people ‘sin’, it makes yours okay?

This is where these ‘gay-christians’ confuse me.

I am a human and am flawed with sin in my life too. Like previous posters have said, it’s something I focus on reckognizing as sin and then DEALING with it - NOT doing it any more. THAT is what Jesus of the Bible teaches.

I don’t tell the world I’m wonderful because of my sin and they need to celebrate and give me accolades for it.

You can bet if a player did come out, the NFL would issue a directive to the Referees that if they so much are hit, the opposing team should be penalized 15 yards for “Unsportsmanlike Conduct.”

Oh yeah...that I believe. I pretty well gave up on pro football about a decade ago. Same thing for pro basketball. I still what some college sports but I have to admit I would rather watch my local high school and club teams. I guess it just means I am old and cranky
