It just doesn’t get any better than Mark Steyn.

BINGO!

I wish Mark would get his own talk show instead of just filling in for Rush, now and then................perhaps taking Hannity's time slot!?!?!

Steyn is such a treasure! It is incredible how he can put things into sharp perspective with so few words.

It is obvious the current PC US military justice system, the effete command structure, and the entire Dumbama Administration is a failed system which previous generations would have been ashamed of and would long ago have ripped out and obliterated from the national scene.

Mark is fantastic——

After Major Hasan’s pre-post-traumatic workplace wobbly, General George W. Casey Jr., the Army’s chief of staff, was at pains to assure us that it could have been a whole lot worse: “What happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty.” And you can’t get much more diverse than letting your military personnel pick which side of the war they want to be on.

As soon as the military is full of their kind of people they'll turn it against the citizens.

That might be a bad idea. We got the guns. And ammo.

...the U.S. media, following their iron-clad rule that “Allahu akbar” is Arabic for “Nothing to see here,” did their best to pass off Major Hasan as the first known victim of pre-Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Someday a real journalist will do a piece on why newspapers died. He'll go back and look at the quality of internet news when papers started going under (and blaming 'the internet') - and discover 'the internet' offered almost nothing back then EXCEPT a nascent 'both sides'... which was enough to start the process. The death of newspapers was self inflicted - a thousand stupid cuts.

Journalists date themselves - the equivalent of saying 'that's heavy' and 'groovy man'...

Our military has been successfully destroyed by those who want to take America down.

There isn’t a lick of common sense in ANY of the upper reaches of our government.

We have had our head removed and replaced with the seven heads of a commie rat bastard hydra.

It took the evil of totalitarianism 95 years, but they have won, regardless the way they lied, cheated,
brainwashed, bribed, threatened, propagandized, and murdered their way up, they’re at the top.

And it’s about to topple.

Well either:

1. “Our military has been successfully destroyed by those who want to take America down.”

or

2. “There isn’t a lick of common sense in ANY of the upper reaches of our government.”

Alas I think the truth is #1. Sure there may be some cases of #2 in the US government but in general, I think the White House is getting what it wanted. Ultimately this is what the US population voted for.

perhaps taking Hannity's time slot!?!?!

I don't think Hannity's audience could handle the sudden change in intellect.

Because the MB WANTS to delay long enough to suck us dry.
Because 0bama wants to glaciate our military.
Because the Left wants to completely undo everything ‘American.’
Because Soros said that America was to only thing standing in the way of a new world order.

Because 0ba/Jarrett/Holder want to kill as many of us as possible under the color of authority.

And because Hasan is a general in the US Army, as well as in AQ. His having access to who knows what intel helps traitors and terrorists everywhere.

Yup. The good part is their kind make for terrible soldiers and are easily defeated.

I know of 2 20 plus year MSgts that recently left and both, not knowing the other cited the same reason. “I refuse to suck XXXk for a paygheck.”

Both said the military has become every bit corrupted as DC.

'Workplace Violence'(?!) or an ACT OF TERROR?

Three years, eight months, and eight days later, the Japanese surrendered ... Three years, nine months, and one day later, his (Hasan) court-martial finally got under way.

The ENTIRE difference relates to the actions of the man occupying the Oval Office - FDR vs. 0bama.

Why won't 0bama declare this a terrorist act? 0bama is a muslim terrorist.

Yet it is far more symbolic of the state of America than the Trayvon Martin case, in which superannuated race hucksters attempted to impose a half-century-old moth-eaten Klan hood on a guy who’s a virtual one-man melting pot. The response to Nidal Hasan helps explain why, in Afghanistan and elsewhere, this war is being lost — because it cannot be won because, increasingly, it cannot even be acknowledged.

Wake up America. The occupier-in-chief has fundamentally transformed your country. And it ain't for the good.

This has to be one of the best pieces I have ever seen out of Steyn, and that’s saying a lot.
