Billionaire businessman and Republican mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis and wife Margo contributed $79,000 to the campaign of Democratic Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo since January, according to the latest state campaign filings.
While ‘Cats’ has been self-funding his mayoral effort, it is notable that he’s still a contributor to at least one other candidate as well. Rob Ryan, his spokesman, said “John over the years has supported both Republican and Democratic candidates who have done good things for New York. He’s known the Cuomo family for 30 years.”
Margo Catsimatidis was recorded as contributing $50,000 on Jan. 10 to Cuomo 2014 and another $10,000 on May 1. Also, John A. Catsimatidis sent another $19,000 just last week, on July 10.

I Googled Cuomo and found that among other things.
He has no chance anyway. Aside from being gross looking, he owns Gristedes, is disliked by his employees and is not popular with the unions. So even if he had a chance, they’d shoot it down.
I think the correct term is RINO not GOP Liberal.
NY had a NY State Liberal Party, not the rats. NY has a NY State Conservative Party, not the GOP. You can run on multiple party lines in NY. The NY State Liberal Party appears back from the dead. All they need is 50,000 votes statewide to get a line on the ballot, IIRC. In NYC, I don't know.
Well, this a-hole isn’t gonna win the GOP primary anyway.
