We Must Support Ken Cuccinelli #standwithken

We have not done this in a while. Perhaps, in growing up, we let go of some things of our youth we should not have let go. One of those was raising money in a coordinated effort for solid candidates.

We must start doing that again. And so today I want to ask you to make a commitment. RedState endorses Ken Cuccinelli for Governor of Virginia and we want you to join us in giving him a contribution. I have personally given him $50.00 already to get this going. Will you join me? Match me, double me, triple me, or just give what you can.

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is running for Governor of Virginia. He is not just opposed by the Democrats, but by big business Republicans who want a Governor who will give them the taxpayers’ money for their purposes. Ken has been very clear — he will not use government to pick winners and losers in business. Big business hates that.

He also confirmed the property tax exemption for total and permanent disabled veterans.

I stand with Ken. He has stood with us over and over again against Obamacare, against the EPA, and against the cultural deviants who think their behavior should trump fiscal issues. Anyone who votes for McAuliffe isn’t a conservative or moderate they are a moron.

Trivia question: Post the initials of Cuccinelli’s opponent without searching for the answer.

Problem is that Cuccinelli is dropping the ball at this critical early part of his campaign, at least in the western part of Virginia. McCauliffe’s already got his flying monkeys out and about there, but Cuccinelli has done nothing to counter them. Does he even have a campaign organization?

I’d certainly support him over McAuliffe, but what’s the deal with his opposition to oral sex?

He’s never said anything about oral sex. He has defended the Virginia statutes that if repealed would result in the release of child molesters and others convicted of sodomy. He has never supported nor have the laws been used in recent history to prosecute anyone for consensual Sodomy.

http://www.vachildpredators.com/

One example of a guy that would be released

“•William Scott MacDonald was 47 when he was convicted of soliciting oral sex from a minor girl. This was a repeat offense.”

Its much to do about nothing as were most Sodomy laws which were entirely constitutional till Lawrence vs Texas and were almost never used to prosecute consensual private relations. Most often they applied as an additional charge not the sole charge and though I believe they should be modified and updated to target criminals specifically it would never be a big issue for me. I don’t have a problem keeping my sex life private unlike too many on the left.

He also sued and won against BHO’s EPA when they tried to make Fairfax County declare that water is a pollutant.

I know he’s been campaigning in the area and has several offices all along 81.

http://www.cuccinelli.com/get-involved/find-a-volunteer-office-near-you/

Right now the focus has been phone calls and door knocking at least in my area. He doesn’t have the money for paid goons like McAuliffe. If you want to help or know people who do please volunteer.

I’ve went door to door for Ken and will be working more in the months leading up to the election.

Okay, it sounds like his issue isn’t with straight oral sex, but with homosexual sex acts, and that he contributed to VA being in the bind of having this law that’s been declared unconstitutional on the books, without a replacement for it?

Do you know if that is so and if he has updated his position on gay sex?

He’s a practicing Catholic with a Big C...
What do you think his position is on “gay” sex???
And why the big concern on your part with oral “sex”?
A bit pervy, I think.....

I’d like for conservatives to win elections in the US, and a great majority of the US doesn’t support those positions.

And enlighten me, does the Catholic church advocate that homosexual acts be illegal in the US. Does the church want a Constitutional amendment to make that possible?

Well, not being an expert on ecclesiastical doctrine, as I understand it, the Catholic Church believes homosexuality, including homosexual acts, is a SIN! I believe the idea is that we Catholics, to steal from our Jewish brothers, answer to a HIGHER power...illegality doesn’t enter into it.
Making it “legal” like sanctioning “gay marriage” isn’t cool with the Catholic Church (so far)....
You are highly suspect in your “concern” for conservatives winning elections if you think they need to abandon the conservative belief that sodomy/pederasty should be condemned. We conservatives KNOW that sodomy is bad for society, bad for children and is immoral.

Unfortunately he’s running against a carpetbagger who must think he has the election in the bag given his preliminary opinion on assault rifles.
