The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested the mayors of Miami Lakes and Sweetwater Tuesday on bribery charges.
They both were surprised, a source familiar with the case told CBS4′s Jim DeFede.
The arrests, first reported by CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald, will be separate cases involving different people...
Maroño is not only the Mayor of Sweetwater, but also president of the Florida League of Cities and was part of Governor Rick Scotts transition team.

The mention of Rick Scott may be indicative of Obama's coming war upon the governor of Florida.

Based on the FBI not arresting half of Washington, D.C. politicians and all of the officials of Chicago, they should walk.

I have to take these arrests with a grain of salt, since I have very little or no trust in ANY of the Federal police agencies. Or their courts.

Or their courts.I don't know anything about the particulars of these cases but I have to agree with you. My first reaction is suspicion of the Feds. Lenin's Cheka liked to round people up for 'corruption'. It's a favorite in PRC and NorK, too.

As far as I am concerned, you can have him. He lost me when he did everything in his power to railroad George Zimmerman into a prison cell for defending his life to appease the race pimps. Ann you can have Pam Bondi and Angela Corey to boot.

Sweetwater was a corrupt little redneck city when I lived next door to it in the 70’s. Some things never change. LOL!

Didn’t/doesn’t Sweetwater have a neighborhood where little people resided?
