So, why has it taken 4 years to bring this slimy buzzard to trial? Every other court martial takes place shortly after the Article 32 hearing, usually a month or two after charges are filed.

I am completely at a loss to understand how it took so long to bring somebody who is so indisputably guilty to trial. Can anyone enlighten me?

Agreed.

A real mystery.

His trial should have been within 30 days, lasted 10 minutes and the execution lasted another 10 minutes.

This is not a case of we think he might be the guy.

Because the Major had to get his monthly salary for a LONNNNNGGGGG time before we cut him off for his crimes. (/sarc)

His trial should have been within 30 days, lasted 10 minutes and the execution lasted another 10 minutes.

One of the Founding Fathers said, " after a trial, take the condemned man out THE NEXT DAY, and hang him. Unless the next day is a Sunday and then hang him on the next Monday"

Wish we would get back to that AND put it on TV. Would stop a lot of crimes, I'll bet.
