RNC Says No Debates If NBC and CNN Don’t Pull Clinton Movies

The Republican National Committee has a message for NBC and CNN: If they don’t pull their planned Hillary Clinton miniseries and movie, no RNC partnered 2016 debates for them.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus wrote a letter to the heads of both networks to “express his deep disappointment” in their decision to either air a miniseries in NBC’s case or a movie in CNN’s, writing that the networks are “promoting former Secretary Hillary Clinton ahead of her likely candidacy for the Democratic nomination for president in 2016.

“As an American company, you have every right to air programming of your choice,” the letter reads. “But as American citizens, certainly you recognize why many are astounded at your actions, which appear to be a major network’s thinly veiled attempt at putting a thumb on the scales of the 2016 presidential election.”

The RNC says that the programs could not only hurt the 2016 Republican contenders but the 2016 Democratic candidates too.

but in the end nothing will come of such a threat once the media calls his bluff.

They will probably cave. They have priors.

I was told it was the nominees decision.

It is. Which makes the RNC chairman's fundraising antics here that much more ridiculous.

Good move, Rinse!! Let’s go ahead and shoot ourselves in the foot, then cut off the leg to stop the bleeding!!

God, give me strength, this man is so stupid he’s giving stupid people a bad name!! Apparently, the RNC has no issue with ‘Pubbies appearing on TV shows with such hostile “interviewers” as Matt Wower, George Stephanopanopanopoulos, the shrill witches of “the View”, Katy “I’m Still Cuter Than You Are” Couric and a whole host of others.

But, in the face of a prejudicial “miniseries” promoting HiLLIARy!, they want to throw a temper tantrum. IMO, HiLLIARy! doesn’t have a real chance to take the leftist nomination. After 8 years of zero’s inept, incompetent, narcissistic, communist (and exceptionally dubious) “leadership”, I don’t really believe that America will fall all over itself to vote for another incompetent, inept communist whose philandering husband would LOVE to get back to chasing interns in the WH.

Not happenin’ - no how, no way!

They have to let FOX and other non-lib networks host debates as well...or no debates through liberal establishments. Aside from Crowley, M. Radditz has a personal relationship with the Bidens. Its time for this shit to stop and I stand with RP on this.

If they had any balls they would let someone like Mark Levin or Rush host the damn things.

Fair is fair, right?

Apparently, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus has the backing of those in Iowa and South Carolina.

The Stupid Party would be wise to forego NBC altogether, regardless.

I think the so-called debates are a joke in the first place.

I wouldn’t have them at all.

I prefer each candidate filming 30 minutes with their plan on each major area of the nation: defense, economy, foreign policy, etc.

No stupid gotcha questions, no arguments over setting, and no hemming and hawing by the candidates.

Actually, I love debates, but I would like our side to be questioned only by conservatives like others have mentioned:

Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin and Laura Ingraham to name just three.

That way there’d be no easy rides for the likes of Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie and any other RINO who wants to slither past with rhetoric that doesn’t match his or her record and previous statements.

The Republicans should have refused decades ago to attend rigged Lamestream Media debates!

I have enjoyed certain moments in some debates with the exception of Dick Cheney cleaning the floor with John Edwards.

Generally, though, I think they’re a waste of time. Too bad Romney had to debate Obama. Once he figured out it was a fellow liberal, he went into full blown lounge mode. He only fights conservatives.

What RNC? By then there won’t BE an RNC; shoot, there’s only one party now—Washington, D.C. elitists bent on keep their cushy jobs.

I pondered this a good while. At first I thought it was a good thing, then I thought it was ineffectual. Then it occurred to me that this might be the first effort at drawing public attention to both the bias of the networks and the ridiculous and probably highly boring Hillary shows.

So, I don't know. Maybe the RNC is dog whistlin' to the party that we're not going to put up with Candy Crowleys anymore.

RE Candy Crowley:

Do you remember when Romney was making a point on Benghazi, Obama interrupted from behind “Uhh, Candy??” to redirect Romney away from that thread?

Talk about coaching.
